If the dealer is not willing or able to frop the price signficantly then consider having the car shipped from elsewhere. I had my wife's Odyessy Touring edition shipped down from North east a few years ago for about $500 since the folks here were asking at or above MSRP when it first came out. I found discounts up in the NY, PA and CT area from larger dealerships and the 500 shipping fee was more than covered by the difference in price in the first year of the lease. Of course, with gas prices up I imagine the cost to ship is also increased. I will be home later tonight and will try to see the actual invoice price and let you know Dan

Anyone ever bought a new car almost a whole year after they hit the lot? What kind of a discount can you expect? Should I offer the used price?

About to order: by newmazda on Mon Mar 24 11:05:08 PDT 2008; I am about to order a CX-9, AWD Touring with the Bose-Moon roof package. The prices people are posting look great, yet I just hope they are the same in my area. Are people in Massachusetts paying under invoice? I am a member of AAA and was told that price is a % over invoice and then I am eligible for $1000 rebate or 2.9% financing. Does anyone have pricing experience in MA or northern CT. Thank you for your help!!!
