Re: Really Bad Experince [kmbone]

I bought my 3 at Sill-terhar in Broomfield. I went through the internet sales manager and had a real price before I ever left my house. It was not the greatest price but a decent one. I think 2% over invoice plus $300 or so. I just sent a request for quote through Edmunds and that is the price I was given. E-mail me if you want the guys name. Corey

This is a simple accounting thing called present value. If you want to mess around with the numbers here is the excel formula that would calculate the present value of your situation. =PV(0.024/12,24,25500/24) The 0.024 is the interest you make in savings per year which is why it is divided by 12. The 24 is the number of payments and then the 25500/24 is your payment amount. Now if I was looking for an investment and wanted to buy your loan and make the 2.4% interest I would pay 24,873 for it. So it would be paying me 627 dollars interest over the two years. So unless you are going to make more than the 2.4% interest I would take the money. Corey they accountant
Mazda 3 s Sedan

I just bought a 3s sedan in Titanium Grey with no additional options. I paid 2% over invoice plus $359. So it came out to about 675 over invoice. But I spent a total of about an hour at the dealership not including all the financing and show time. I paid almost exactly what the Edumnds TMV is. It was not the greatest of deals but I was not looking for that. I just wanted a decent price without having to spend all day at the dealership. I also got the College grad rebate and the $250 coupon. So all said and done I paid less than 16K. If any one is in the Denver area and looking for a Mazda and wants a decent deal with no hassle go to Sill-Tehar at Wadsworth and the turnpike. Corey

I was just wondinging if you guys tried to do the Edmunds price quote over the internet thing. There were 4 dealers that it contacted in my area and of the 4 only one gave me a real quote on the first e-mail. The two others gave me MSRP for the closest car on the lot and one said he wanted to call for more info. What more can you need? I said Mazda 3S with as few additions as possible. The last, which I responded to and set up a Test drive offered "2% above the invoice price of the vehicle, plus applicable taxes and our $359 administrative fee." What do all of you think about that price? Did any of you have the same experiance with the dealers in your area? Thanks for the Info Corey
