onI have bought many cars over the years and I've seen just about every trick in the book. However, Colonial was different.
My wife and I went in to inquire about a vehicle we searched for online. We were promptly greeted by Salesman Greg C. Within just a few minutes, we were on a test drive. It's important to note here, that the Greg did not accompany us on the test drive. He offered to go with us if we felt more comfortable, however he didn't require it. This allowed us to feel more relaxed and too discuss our possibility of purchase without the feeling of any interference. Greg was very straightforward and spent quite a while answering all of our questions, even trying to locate a vehicle with different options. He was not pushy at all and respected the fact that we were considering 2 other brands of vehicle.
Greg contacted me to follow up and presented his best price from the start. There was really no need to haggle whatsoever. Their price was extremely fair.
In the end we decided to purchase a 2013 Jetta TDI because it was the best option for our situation and partially because Greg beat the price of a Mazda 3 with the same option, but with a sticker price of 2k less to start with!
Colonial gave us a great finance rate and made the whole experience easy. There were no high pressure sales or BS, just the straightforward facts.
If you're in the market for a VW, do yourself a favor and talk to Greg at Colonial. I guarantee you will be pleased.
