Dealership Sales Review

Place to go if you want poor customer service and confrontation

onWent to Empire to check out a used hyundai advertised at $3995. I'd never purchased from a dealership before and didn't realize that when they say "$3500 cash or trade down" in the text of an ad that means the true sales price is closer to $8000 because 3995 + 3500=7495. Stupid me, but the whole thing gave me a bad feeling anyways--I'm an honest person and expect to be dealt with honestly, and, I'm sorry, but the number with the word price next to it should be the actual price of the car.
So that was Strike One for Empire, but when the sales guy brought over his manager to try and brow beat my husband and me into purchasing the car it was all over with. The manager was rude and confrontational, and I wish I remembered his name, so I could call his manager and complain. He was in our face, high pressure, and made it a point to make my husband and I feel stupid and demeaned. Even if I'd liked the car, I wouldn't have purchased from them because I was treated so poorly. Bring your hard-earned money to someone who deserves it and is willing to earn it fairly.
