I recently bought two new MB (ML350 for myself and an E350 for my sister) at the dealership in Silver Spring, MD. Over the past few months I have visited three BMW dealers and two MB dealers in the area I must say this dealership provided me with the best and most pleasant car-buying experience. Like everybody else, I started my research well in advance and read a number of reviews, especially Edmunds.com. Within a few hours after I initiated an RFQ online, the general manager Steve Gluck replied and sales person Mkesh Hargun took over the process. Mkesh was professional, not at all pushy and answered all my questions in honesty which put me at ease immediately. There was inevitable negotiations with Steve after test drives and a series of technical queries with Mkesh. All done via email and over the phone from the comfort of my home since I live 30 minutes away. I got both vehicles under factory invoice, well below true market value and 9.1% off MSRP as per the numbers reported by Edmunds.com and MBUSA.com websites. While I will never know to what extent the dealers are prepared to go below the factory invoice; all indications are that both cars were very decent deals. Being last week of December, I was at the very end of their annual quota-push and that apparently helps. MB financial services also provide 1.65% if you opt for auto direct payment via ACH transfer (1.9% if not) from your bank. I would give them 5 star rating and recommend 100 percent for any potential MB buyers in the area!
