After my first not so good experience with Heritage, I must say they worked A LOT better with me the second time around. The General Manager, Robert Lee, undertood my concern and we still were able to work an affordable deal. Our salesman Steve was great and very understanding, he made this process as smooth and fast as possible.
Original Review - I had been car shopping for a few weeks, came across a few deals at Heritage and wanted to inquire, so I emailed the sales department. I was sent a picture and quoted a price for the car I really wanted. When I realized it was more than I wanted to spend, I started shopping elsewhere. I found a similar car at a different dealership, I told Heritage I found this and thanks for your time/help. Of course they wanted me to buy from them, they quoted that they would match the price and give me $400 less than what I found. AWESOME! So we went, needless to say they did not back their quote. When I arrived they had a different version of the car ready for me, I had never discussed this car with them at all. When I told them it wasnt the rigth car, they came back and said they cant give me the car I want for the price they quoted. After admitting the confusion they had with the emails they still did not stand by their quote! I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. After talking to the manager he of course tried to cover for them and give me the run around. I now have a lawyer involved who says I do have a case. bottom line is they do not stand by the prices quoted even when admitting their confusion.
We want to thank Rebecca for the opportunity to assist her with her new vehicle purchase. When we initially received Rebecca’s request for more information she inquired about three different Chargers; the SE, SXT and SXT Plus. After we discussed pricing, Rebecca informed us that the SXT Plus was out of her price range. It was at that point that we started discussing the SE, SXT and two pre-owned Chargers. This occurred over a six day period and consisted of 52 emails between her and the dealership. Rebecca indicated that she was going to look at a SXT located at another dealership in Virginia. We let her know that we could beat their price and to come to our location first. She asked if it was the Charger SXT that we were going to beat the deal on. We responded that yes, we will beat the deal on the SXT from Virginia by $400. We had the SXT that was comparable to the car located in Virginia pulled up for her and her family to test drive. Upon seeing the SXT and seeing what it offered she indicated that this was not the car she wanted. She said that she came in to see the SXT Plus, the same car she told us 5 days prior she would not consider due to the amount she budgeted for a car payment. Rebecca does realize that all dealerships purchase vehicles for the same price from the Manufacturer. She wants the features the SXT Plus offers but realizes at this point her budget will only allow her to purchase the SXT. Since she is not willing to compromise on the type of vehicle she wants (which we completely understand) we wanted to let her know that we will continue to welcome the opportunity to facilitate the purchase of her new Charger when she is ready.
