Recently purchased a 2008 Acura RDX. The sales person, Giovanni, was very knowledgeable regarding this vehicle. I asked for a quote including a trade-in and made an appointment for later that week to pick up the vehicle and finanlize the deal. I also selected some after-market items. To speed up the process, Giovanni sent me an e-mail with a credit application and a list of other info needed; only he forgot to attach the file. I called the dealership and they contacted Giovanni at home and he did resend the e-mail with the attached file. (Apparently, Giovanni is the only one at the dealership with enough computer skills to do this.) I completed the credit application and attached the file to his e-mail along with the other info. I arrived at the dealership on Friday at 6:30 pm. Nothing was ready. I was also asked which vehicle I would be purchasing. They also could not find the original quote from the manager. Someone test drove my car and somehow my 2005 Infiniti G35X (very good condition) that was still under Manufacturer's warranty was worth $1,700 less than four days earlier. They were able to find the manger's original quote and all the paper work was completed. I also had to remind Giovanni that the after-market items were included in the original quote. I left the dealership around 9:15 pm with the vehicle. The next day I turned on the heater only to find that it did not work. I can't believe they gave me a brand new vehicle that lists above $38,000 and one bothered to check out the systems. I called service on Monday to install the after-market items and to fix the heater. I arrived to drop off the vehicle and they had no appointment in their computer. Again, more wait time. I took the vehicle back and remade the appointment for Saturday after they presented me with their condtions on the "free" loaner vehicle. Saturday: I dropped off the vehicle. The check-in service attendant could not find my appointment at first. I came back 6 hours later to check on the status of my vehicle since I had not been called. My RDX needed a part tfor the heater hat had to be ordered and would not be in until Tuesday. Since the tempartues is now close to freezing in the morning and my windshiedl is freezing up, I had no other choice but to adhere to their conditions on the loaner. Just wondering how long I would still be waiting on their call if I did not show up.
