Through Edmunds.com, I requested quotes from seven dealerships for a 2013 Honda CR-V LX. In short order, I started receiving emails and phone calls from most of the dealerships. I did not answer any of the phone calls, opting to do all correspondence via email with the internet sales managers. I explained exactly what I wanted and requested a worksheet laying out all the costs that included a bottom line, out the door price. While all the internet sales managers offered price quotes for the vehicle intself, only two of them provided a detailed worksheet with an actual out the door price - one of them being Minkyu "Q" S. at College Park Honda (CPH). Q's price quote was actually several hundred dollars less than the competitors' quotes, so I was rather skeptical at first; not to mention that several of the reviews for CPH at Edmunds.com were not very good. I called Q the next morning, and even though it was his day off, he said he would meet us at the dealership for a test ride, and he re-confirmed all the prices in the worksheet that he had sent me. My wife and I came in that afternoon and ended up buying the car for the exact price quoted in the worksheet Q sent us. We felt completely at ease working with Q - there were no pressure tactics and everything about the experience was pleasant. Because my wife and I had just arrived back in the United States after being assigned overseas for several years, getting financing required a few additional hurdles - but Q worked all of that out very easily with the financing department. It was a five star experience in every way.
