I was offered a SUV at $2,000 over the cars.com listing for that stock number. When I produced the cars.com listing, it took 30 minutes to get the "sale" price down to the listed price. Then I was offered 2,000 for a trade-in worth 3,500 - 4,200. That was salvage value because "2 tires were worn". ...
