We recieved a quote by phone from salesman Lance after he consulted with his manager. The following morning we drove 125 miles to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. After discussing financing, the salesman said he has something he needs to tell us. He has made a mistake, one of the rebates is not applicable and the price of the vehicle will now be $1000 more than the quoted price. The sales manager is consulted who said the DEALERSHIP made a mistake but refused to honor the quote. We offered $300 more than the quoted amount, but the manager still refused. He said the dealership would lose money. We've since bought an identical vehicle for the same amount as the quoted price from another dealer. Bolton Ford lured us to the dealership with a quote they would not honor. The salesman had contact information, even calling us while we were driving to the dealership, but never mentioned there was a mistake or the quote would not be honored untill after he showed us the vehicle, asked us to take a test drive, and financing was completed.
