I would say don't bother. Bellevue/Fife Lexus dealers are the same and they are not willing to negotiate and are very arrogant. They charge MSRP and won't budge. At best you might get a price that is few hundred below MSRP. If you really want to save money and get a good deal, just contact California dealers (Bay Area and LA). It is easier than you might think and you can get all the paperwork done remotely. Most of them are willing to sell you at Invoice price and shipping is easy too. Either they will arrange for one (they will charge you) or you can easily arrange one yourself for $500-$600. Also, you can have the registration done in WA and pay taxes here itself. You are going to save about $2000 to $3000 even after having the vechile shipped to Washington depending on the options selected for your RX. A word of caution: First check with the dealer if they have the vechicle with all the options you want in stock and ONLY deal with them if they do. Otherwise they could waste your time.

Very good negotiators. However, once I talk to dealer it seems no room for negotiation. Please help, I am a cash buyer and looking for 2010 RX350 AWD. Which dealer is best in OR and WA area. How much discount you can get out of MSRP.

Hi, I'm in WA state too and I've been looking to purchase a 2010 RX 350 and was considering purchasing it in CA and driving it back. Please send me your contact info or if you could send the dealer's info I'd appreciate it very much! Thank you!

FWIW I inquired about this for a Mercedes last year. Costco price was $250 below MSRP - My final price ended up being ~ $4,000 below MSRP - needless to say I did not go with Costco Pricing. Beside an introduction e-mail and easily setting an appointment the Costco pricing did not do much for me. Same experience in 2004 on a Mazda. I would use the Costco process again however, it is a great starting point. and it cuts out the upfront BS that can happen when you just walk on the lot...

I don't believe you can get away with not paying the acquisition fee.

Yep. Brian's a good guy when he's engaged. Was reasonable when negotiating an '09 350. I'd buy another from him - as long as he stays focused.
