Deals on RX350 WITHOUT Nav?: by nerfball412 on Sat Dec 20 16:30:46 PST 2008; Most of the posts seem to include the Nav system, but I'm planning to lease or buy a 09 RX350, FWD, with the Premium Plus Package/wipers/heated seats. At Lexus of Nashville North (Madison, TN) today I was quoted MSRP of $42,191 less $3,591 for a total of $38,600 before TTL. Seems very high... How are others doing on working deals for year end? What specifically are you negotiating? I plan to sign a contract around 12/30.

Re: 2008 ES350 Loaner Purchase [driveitalot]: by karter14 on Fri Oct 10 12:32:13 PDT 2008; Try the Lexus dealer in Nashville, TN. About a 4 hour drive from Asheville and they are great to deal with. The end of July I got a 350 with Premium plus and a load of extras,i.e. blue tooth, full size spare, HID lamps, etc for $35K and $199 doc fee. The prices have gone down since then. Get ahold of the internet manager and tell him what you are willing to pay and he will probable take it. You might wait until the end of the month. They have quotas and they are not making them. Try the Brentwood dealer. Good luck.

Re: Nashville, TN Area [timehunt]: by karter14 on Wed Aug 27 17:06:51 PDT 2008; Bought a Lexus ES 350 with Premium Plus, HID Headlights, Preffered Acc Pkg, Rear seat air bags,wood steering wheel, pwr rear sunshade, full size spare, blue tooth audio. Invoice price $34,888. Paid $35,470 plus $200 Documentation fee. Bought the car at Nashville Lexus. Don't bother looking at Chatanooga, Kingsport, or Knoxville. They won't deal. Try Lexington, Ky and Nashville. I think I could have done better. I would try going for the invoice price given in consumer report. Deal over the internet with the internet manager. They will ask you to name your price and if they can do it they will tell you. Let me know how you do.

Two Dealers, Same Owner - Not Willing to Deal: by xchicagoan5 on Wed Jan 03 16:39:39 PST 2007; I went to my local Lexus dealer, Lexus of Nashville. The same family owns both dealerships here in town. We had been dealing with the internet sales guy by phone and email. I told him about the deals I had seen around the US and laid the numbers on him. He told us right away that he couldn't sell us a car at or below invoice. He said he wanted us to make an offer $500 or $1000 above invoice because they don't sell cars for under invoice. He said if we wanted to buy the car from somewhere else that we were more than welcome to do so. I told him travel to get the car wouldn't be a big deal because I travel all the time anyway. He reiterated his position. I said thank you, shook his hand, and we left. My wife said to me as we were walking out, "you knew they were going to be like that". I told her that I needed to remind myself that we don't have to do business with them. We then went next door to the Acura dealer, and I got a call no less than 5 minutes later. It was them, willing to sell the car at invoice. I am going to continue to shop. I don't have to do business with them.
