I am another appreciative forum reader who has benefited from the info posted here. Thanks everyone! Just brought home our 2007 RX350, AWD, 18" wheels, Premium Plus, Navigation, heated seats, black with light gray interior. MSRP $45,706, invoice $40,866. Long story, but after reading the forum for a month I used the tips and waited til Christmas slow-down to negotiate. Sent e-mails to Ray Catena, Burdick in Syracuse, Dorschel in Rochester and Northtown in Buffalo with my offer of $40,200. Ray Catena immediately offered $500 above invoice, Northtown came in with $100 BELOW invoice and Dorschel initially offered only $1350 over invoice. After negotiating Dorschel to match Northtown, I was close to accepting, then got a last-minute call back from Northtown saying they would go $400 BELOW, so I accepted. Final price $40,466 including destination, no extra charges besides TTR. I was extremely pleased, considering most buyers in the East can't seem to get below invoice. Internet sales guy at Northtown was terrific. Straight-shooter, personable. Love the ride!! Good luck.

Looking for competive Lexus dealer: by ike3 on Fri Oct 27 07:21:48 PDT 2006; I live in western NY. Can't say the dealers out here are competitive, whether in Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse. Can anyone within a 5-6 hours driving distance from out here direct me to a great dealer that will discount a 2007 RX-350? I'm thinking as far west as Cleveland, as far east as Boston, as far south as NJ...downstate NY.....eastern PA....and even to the DC area. Please advise. The dealers here are killing me with their very professional, but very smug attitude. A deep discount, not a shallow discount with window dressing on it. Oh yes...it will be for a leased RX, 3 years, 12k miles/year. Thanks to all in this forum that can provide help.
