IS 250 AWD IN UPSTATE NY: by artredjet on Tue Mar 21 18:25:48 PST 2006; Just purchased an IS250 AWD matador red, sterling interior. MSRP sticker $35069. Dealer gave $1800 off and I felt this was very reasonable. I absolutely love the car so far. Everything seemed to fall into place with the car on the lot. Made a phone offer based on another dealer's quote and they accepted. Funny thing was when I came to finalize the deal there was a couple eyeballing my vehicle and wanting to purchase it with a sold sticker on it. Timing is everything. Thanks to everyone in this forum for educating me about the IS and how to deal. I truly appreciate your thoughts!

Was the 33400 out the door or pre-tax, title, reg? Did you finance and if so was it through them? My apologies in advance if any of these questions are too personal or against forum rules. Re: Albany, NY ES330 pricing [vetfanny]: by que2 on Sat Aug 06 11:56:02 PDT 2005; Not yet (just hit 3,000 miles) but I know a couple of people who have bought used Lexus vehicles - 1 from private sale and 1 from Toyota dealership. They have had no problem with the service dept. Actually hear the service area is very different from the sales area in how they treat their customers. We'll see. Don't anticipate having to go there much anyway because of Toyota/Lexus quality. I have had great follow-up and post-purchase communication from the NJ dealership so wouldn't hesitate to go there for service or ask for help with local or Lexus corporate if necessary. I know someone who leased locally and has never heard from the salesman post-purchase. Not even now and his lease is up next month. He called NJ and no problem to turn vehicle in down there and got great quote on new one...
