I received a lease quote in Albany NY for a Silver AWD Lexus IS 250 with climate package for $494 month for 36 months at 12K per year. Out of pocket at signing is $1,594. The selling price of this car was $34,413. Looking at some of the other post this doesn't look like a good deal. Sales taxes is 8%. What do you think?

Just purchased a 2007 IS 350 (haven't picked it up yet)... White/Beige, Nav 18" wheels, Lux Package.. pretty much loaded.. has XM...no ground efx, no Mark Levinson...... Paid 40,750 plus tax... Oh yeah, I am in Albany NY

Just purchased an IS250 AWD matador red, sterling interior. MSRP sticker $35069. Dealer gave $1800 off and I felt this was very reasonable. I absolutely love the car so far. Everything seemed to fall into place with the car on the lot. Made a phone offer based on another dealer's quote and they accepted. Funny thing was when I came to finalize the deal there was a couple eyeballing my vehicle and wanting to purchase it with a sold sticker on it. Timing is everything. Thanks to everyone in this forum for educating me about the IS and how to deal. I truly appreciate your thoughts!
