Excellent Purchase Experience

Hello: I just wanted to pass along the outstanding buying experience my wife and I had at Ray Catena Lexus in NJ. After several months of negotiations in the Washington, DC area we were forced to travel out of state to purchase our new 05 GX. We haggled and haggled painstakingly with local dealers but in the end made our purchase over the phone in 20 minutes, out-of-state. I sent an e-mail to the Internet Sales group at Ray Catena and they returned with a phone call in less than 30 minutes. I mentioned this web site forum and started the negotiations. In less than 20 minutes we agreed upon a price and the vehicle was reserved with a 500.00 deposit. We waited about three weeks for our car to arrive at port and the dealership kept us informed about the delivery date. We opted for every option except DVD, the color is Blizzard Pearl and we paid $47,000.00 before taxes, MSRP $52,888.00. This price beat our local area prices hands down! Ray Catena Lexus picked us up at the Amtrak station in Trenton, NJ, transported us to the dealership, complete the paperwork and we drove our new GX 250 miles back to our home. GREAT RIDE HOME! This dealership is very prepared for out-of-state purchases and completed all the necessary paperwork to obtain MD tags and registration in a timely manner.
