Re: Leasing an RX350 at cherryhill, nj lexus [capemaych25]

actually, I checked out Cherry Hill and they seemed to be a bit on the high side. I ended up leasing in Northern Jersey. From what I have seen, the fees for a lexus should break down as follows: approx $250 for doc fee (depends on dealer) $700 bank fee (non-negotiable) $150 for title and registration (depends on dealer) first month lease (around $440 or $450 including sales tax for an AWD nav in NJ) there is no security deposit needed for Lexus, at lease during the December to Remember total out of pocket should be around 1500-1600. Anything more and you are paying extra to reduce your cap cost which is never advisable in a lease, because if you total your car, you will never recover that money. The goal of a lease is to reduce your monthy payment to the minimum amount possible, with paying as little out of the door (in my opinion). Most good salespeople will advise you of this. Try Lexus of Englewood or Prestige Lexus in Ramsey, or just ask Cherry Hill to match them. They might be inclined to since it is the end of the month.
RX350 Lease quote

Hey all...first time with this so bear with me. I've been reading a lot of these posts and now have one of my own. Just got the following offer earlier today for a 2009 RX350 AWD w/ the Navi package. Dealership was in Englewood, NJ. Offering fully loaded as mentioned, MSRP is just over $46k. $5,000 down (which covers first payment, tax, title, like $3,700 cap cost reduction) for $450 per month @ 36 months. Now this is my first offer (and first requested offer) and I feel that it's pretty good but I just wanted to throw it out there for some guidance. I've also placed a call into Warnock Lexus in Whippany but I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I'm looking to land this car before year end but I don't want to rush into the first thing thrown my way. I also don't want to wait until it's too late (even though I'm not even really sure if that's possible in this market). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
how's this?

Hi Junior, Just as an FYI, I picked up my wifes new ES 350 last Saturday from Lexus of Englewood. I got the car at roughly $1800 under invoice. I was negotiating between Englewood, Warnock and Bridgewater. My deal is 3 yrs / 36k miles per yr at $425 per month with only inceptions of $1599 due at signing. With the 09's coming any day I think you can get the car under invoice if you work it. I was very happy with the deal I made, but I had to work pretty hard to go back and forth between them.

Hey everyone I have been reading forums for the past few months some pretty information being posted on the forums. I leased my 1st car 2008 Lexus IS250 Awd last week Jan. 8th. I shopped around a bit for the car at first I was gonna get it without the Navigation package but I said what the heck if Im going to lease something like this might as well get the Navi because it came with bluetooth and rearview camera. This is the deal I got I went to Lexus of EngleWood NJ the sales guy was really awesome to deal with and down to earth. The reason I put that much money down is I didnt want my payments to be more then 400 a month and He orginally was at 460 when he presented me the offer. 2008 Lexus IS250 Awd Navigation Premium Package HID Headlights MSRP is like 39k+ I forget the exact number and Sale price was like 35k something. 12k Miles a year I put down 3500 dollars 2k and then the 1500 for 1st months payment and fees. I ended up paying 400.00 a month including Taxes in that payment. Buyout at end of lease team is 22,800+ Tax This is my 1st lease and I wanted to get your guys opinon on this deal. Iam happy with it because It has pretty much everything in it and it is a really sweet car. Let me know what you guys think on this one.
$600 bank fee
by nross on Mon Dec 03 13:14:10 PST 2007
In that catch all "inception fees" phrase is a $600 bank fee for a Lexus Financial services lease. Almost every dealer quotes this. In this Sunday's New York Times, Lexus of Englewood NJ ran an ad that deleted this fee and the total due at lease signing was exactly $600 less than normal. Is this a mistake? Should this "fee" be negotiated out on the current "Dec. to Remember" leases" or what? Just curious if anyone out there has any information on this as I am currently waiting for delivery of a 2008 IS 250 AWD in NJ. Thanks for any help!
