by madkuna on Thu Jul 24 14:52:40 PDT 2008
Hello People, I am trying to sell my 2004 Lexus RX330 AWD which I bought in 2005 as a Certified Car from Local Lexus Dealer in St.Louis, MO. I bought this puppy for $35K initially. I am trying to sell it for $28K. It has: 49000 Miles Navigation System (Built In) Mark Levinson Audio, Rear Entertainment System w/Bose HeadPhones Rearview Camera Dual Zone Temperature setting. What should the reasonable price be for the Vehicle to sell @?

I got the EXACT same car Memorial Day weekend (same color even!). I did 36 mos. 12,000 miles. With zero down, I paid $31,800, and I'm sure I could have gotten them down to 31,500 if I wanted to really press them. I'm in South Florida, and apparently dealers are a bit more stingy here than elsewhere.

IS 250 AWD, Luxury Package (No NAV) MSRP: 36,885 Sale Price: 33,125 (Dealer says this is 263 over invoice) Residual (Dealer calls this Purchase Option): 20,655. This is exactly 56%. Money Factor .00135 Taxes (up front): $1,365 (Sales tax: 8.625%) First months payment (up front): $419 Acquisition fee and other fees (up front): $765 Total out of pocket: $2549 (includes first month, acq. fee, and taxes) Monthly payment: $419 36 mos, 12,000 miles Am I getting hosed? In my view, the up front taxes are no more than a down payment.
