I have been told they have a supply/demand issue and are booking their sales out into September. Thus, they are telling me I am setting the record for the best deal. Do I believe them? I also have no other local Lexus dealer to compete with. The deal: MSRP 47651 Offer 44541 (3100 off) Residual 59% 36 mo/12k miles per year MF .00143 (with 9x security deposits) $8460.70 due upon signing ($5157 is security deposit) $558/month. (without MSD it would be 610/month) My issue is that I see most here getting over $4k off. My dealer will not bend on the final price. They claim most in the area are getting only $1000 or $2000 off.

I Would appreicate it. Planning to buy RX 350 if they offer a good package close to invoice price Would be willing to consider at different city for the best deal. I am open to other packages too.. Lexus in Minnesota: by twiehoff on Thu Jun 29 20:10:43 PDT 2006; I just picked up the ES350 w/ Premium Plus and Navigation (Smokey Granite). MSRP - 41,094, got $2,500 off MSRP. I bought it at Lexus of Wayzata. I thought it was a fair deal considering there are only 2 Lexus dealerships in the area - under common ownership. I had a great buying experience until I met with financing. Rate quoted was terrible and when I asked about leasing, their "Lexus Standard" money factor was .00305. After about 15 minutes of arguing and letting him know that he was crazy, I left, went to the bank and financed the car. Last problem - when I got it in the sunlight in front of the dealership, there was a small chip on the door. The dealer promised to fix and make it "unnoticeable". Time will tell. I just got my 06 GX470 with sport package on Friday... but I lease all my vehicles so I can drive new every 3 years. I am assuming you bought. I live in MN and I got offered $3000 off MSRP as an opening offer. I didn't think that was a good deal. I called a National leasing company to check rates for the lease and that is when I was informed for sure that it was not such a good deal. He was able to get me the same car with an MSRP of $57,358 for $49,900 plus $600 for shipping for a total of $51,506. My rate ended up at 5.6%, but I was only offered 5.5 at Lexus. My payment is about $755 a month. I am happy with that deal. They were great to work with and they delivered the car right to my house. I dont think you got ripped off, I think its just typical of the dealership. Lexus, BMW, Ranger Rover...they dont like to discount their cars and for the most part they dont have to.
