[jman14188]: by egrmi on Fri Aug 20 05:12:51 PDT 2004; I was successful negotiating a lease deal with Lexus of Lansing (Michigan)on a Lexus RX330 with a Premium Package Plus Options (MSRP $41,208) for $37,900. The local Lexus dealership in Grand Rapid refused to go lower than $38,495. The Grand Rapids dealership was very pleasant to work with but wanted proof of my deal with Lansing. Since my dealings with Lansing were done over the phone I could not provide the proof. Because Lansing stepped up to the plate and gave me best deal (without any negotiation) I felt compelled to sign with them. The Grand Rapids dealership could have had my business but would not make the commitment.
