Re: 2008 IS 250 w/Navigation & Premium Pkg [marniew]: by marniew on Wed Oct 21 16:58:40 PDT 2009; Just an update to my 10/4 post...so I wrote to Lexus to complain about the condition of the CPO at Rockville Lexus in MD that I described in my post and within 4 days the $30K, 2008 Lexus IS with nav and premium pkg was reduced to 28K. Moral of the story: Don't take it lying down. Be the squeaky wheel that gets some grease!!!

2008 IS 250 w/Navigation & Premium Pkg: by marniew on Wed Sep 30 04:14:34 PDT 2009; Can someone please tell me if $30,000 is a good price for a CPO 2008 IS 250 w/nav and premium pkg that has 21,000 miles? I am supposed to go to the dealer's in MD today as he says price is only good for today! Dealer originally wanted $31, 500 and says $30,000 is the lowest he can go. With the recall in the news, should I bargain any harder when I get there?

Re: $1K under MSRP [kyfdx]: by svofan2 on Sat Aug 22 18:11:56 PDT 2009; That is interesting to say the least...I thought all states taxed just about the same way...I an Nj and I okanning to buy from Fitx automall in MD and according to the sale people there...I will get a temp driving plate to get the car from MD to NJ...and then when I register the car in NJ I will pay the NJ tax then....according to them the same happens with NY,CT,MA and the states that the had done business with...you guys shoul move EAST...lol...good luck to all...great forum.

Wondering if anyone can share any experiences getting this car at or near invoice in the PA/NJ/MD area. I'm willing to drive to get the vehicle if anyone can give me specifics about where they've been lucky enough to find a deal like this. If I can get the RX at/near invoice I can make the move. Can you afford not to have the money in the bank or not....for the MSD? You can get the exact same deal WITHOUT the MDS...for $599 out the door. Of course this is without Nav and I assume you're not getting the chrome rims. 18" wheels
