Len Stoler in Owings Mills will give the full 5,000 off invoice. A nav model will be about $36,300. They have a big selection of colors etc. About 35 cars on their lot. You might be able to get another two hundred or so off .
Hello: First of all my great thanks to Rockville1 on this site. You lead to me a good deal with a dealer who was a straight shooter, offered a fair price, and provided excellent delivery exprience. I took Rockville1's homework and did a similar deal ($45,700+TTL) on the common 49,866 msrp nav/awd version through internet manager at Towson Lexus. For me, it was 60mile drive but worth it. Dealership was very professional, never played games, was willing to do all the bidding and Q&A process via e-mail. Took all the stress out of being under the hot lights and games with typical dealer experience. Any DC people out there, suggest you work with Towson Lexus. You will save big bucks and get good experience. Thanks to all at this site for the help. Particulary, Rockville1. I owe you and your wife a nice dinner (as soon as i figure out how to contact you).
Thanks Fumanchu and Md Rocks Very helpful info. I bought a gs300 in 2000 at longo, the sales(big korean dude, was their fllet manager) later went to westminster but is no longer there anymore. Anyway, I went in with the cardirect price thinking that will be my goal, he gave me $500 lower on the spot. But they didn't have the right color(silver), but one was on the way in 2 weeks. I picked up the car 2 weeks later and he knocked off another 500 on the spot for the wait. My point is I think there is still room to work with under under the cardirect price. Gosh, I wish I find that guy and then, I wouldn't have to work so hard now trying to get pricing
I'm at the opposite end of the country in Northern Cal (but lived in Maryland outside DC for 8 years, so know the geography you are talking about). I just picked up my ES 350 last weekend also. So far, best car I've ever owned. Paid $34K, for that model, so we are in the same ballpark. Would like to have gotten more on the trade-in, but they always screw you on the trade in. And the trade-in car (a 2004 Maxima) was soon in need of about $1200 in repairs. Went in armed with Edmunds and Kelly info on both the new car purchase and trade in, a big help.
I am the proud new owner of a '05 LS. My last 3 cars were 2 MBs after a BMW, but reliability concerns pushed me towards Lexus this time. I went into Lexus of Rockville (MD) (closest dealer to me) for a test drive and maybe to look for a deal on a remaining '04 or demo, and ended up with what I believe was an incredible deal on a 2005 Black/Cashmere with a $62,734 MSRP (Modern Lux, Smart Key, 18" alloy wheels, Preferred Accessories). As the last LS in stock on the last day of the month (and dealer is building a big new facility and looking to kick up sales to justify larger allocation next year), I negotiated a bottom line price of $55,985. This appears to be a bigger discount than any on even a comparable '04 I see reported on this forum! Excellent buying experience with the salesman (former service mgr). Good luck.
