Hey dmp4, that's disappointing to hear. I'll be "officially" in the market in 6 weeks and Len Stoler has always been my best Lexus price. May be time to go elsewhere, there is prlenty of competition in the DC/Baltimore area. BTW, Lexus of Towson is also owned by the Len Stoler group.

Hey my3grlz, Good luck - that would be a fantastic deal if they keep their word! What dealer is it? If it doesn't work out, I have always gotten a good price from the Internet person at Len Stoler Lexus in Owings Mills, MD (near Baltimore). Ask for an email quote - it should be competitive.

I went to the AutoShow in Baltimore in February and fell in love with this crossover. Have you heard of United Buying Service (ubs4cars.com)? They will give you a certificate for almost any car, tell you which dealership to go to and you are supposed to get a cheaper price than the MSRP. Now I think it's only in MD,DC,VA, but there may be other types of companies out there...and it's free. Check with your credit unions or financial institutions...you'd be surprised! There was a downside to my experience with the dealer they listed...they didn't want to give me anything decent off the RX. They told me they would give $1,200 off $47k...I told them um, that's not a deal. They said the vehicle just came out and they aren't discounting the 2010, however, the discounts for the 2009 RX350 ranged from $9600 to $9800 off their MSRP. I told them they have the wrong person on the wrong day... I walked out. The good news, I contacted a different Lexus dealer, also in Virgina and I told the salesperson what I wanted, she quoted the MSRP at $47,091 but will sell for $44,900. I told her all I had was a check in hand for $45,000 and her new sales manager agreed to sell it to me for $40,900 (with tax, tags, title) = $45,000. I was told the car would be there on Saturday...so I'll post again once I get it and let you know if they kept their word. This is without the UBS certificate... bottom line, if the dealership is hungry for the sale, they will do whatever they need to do to get you in the car!

To get an idea of a good starting price to begin your negotiations, go to www.lenstolerlexus.com and request a price quote from their Internet sales person. Even if you don't live near the dealership (near Baltimore, MD) you'll probably get about the best price around these days with little effort on your part. Use this for negotiating with your local dealer. Or, you could just give the business to Len Stoler (and BTW, I have no connection to the dealer other than I am a happy previous customer). They are always very competitive and super easy to work with.

After not being able to find a nice 2005 for low 30's, I would like to find an 07 for 2500 under invoice. I am looking for AWD NAV only....local dealers do not have any 07s left over. Does anyone know where 2007s can still be found in stock? I am in Baltimore MD
Re: Narrow price difference between new RX350 and used RX330 CPO [lexusrxsearch]

In Baltimore MD area, dealers do not negotiate at all. I hope they are punished by very slow sales. Dealers have been able to lower prices a bit on units that were traded in vs. ones bought at the auction, because auction prices have been high. If you are bargain hunter, absolutely stay away from Lexus Certified- dealers make $1500 on this package without doing anything special. CPO is valid only for 3 yrs or 100k since your purchase date, so what if you bought a used one with 30k miles on it and will not drive to 70k mi in 3 yrs? A $2500 price premium not worth it. Someone mentioned that brand new 07s are going for 1500 under invoice. If invoice incl destination is 38500, that would be 38.5 OTD price. Does it make any sense at all to pay 34-35K for a used 2005 AWD NAVI with reasonable 20-30K mi if, when tried hard, may still be able to get into a brand new one for only 3-4 more grand!?
