Lexus GX 470- HELP: by carameltwist on Tue Feb 12 12:24:02 PST 2008; :) Spoke with a salesman today, I live in Baton Rouge, La. He told me it is rare if ever I could receive anything off of the invoice price due to Lexus is a luxury car. Any truth to that? I received a MSRP quote of 53009 and selling of 50000 with Nav system. My money factor is 3.5 with a credit score in the late 670's. Isn't that a bit much? I read somewhere the money factor is the hidden interest rate. Please reply. I am getting more and more flustered.

I mocked up the car that I want, 350 with LT & VN packages, and emailed them all, INDIVIDUALLY. Once I got replies from them, I THEN replied to ALL of them "collectively" letting them all know that I AM shopping dealers. Once you do that, THEY start getting seriously competitive. He, the internet manager, will call YOU, if he is serious about selling. Have your car together, when you DO so choose to contact them. I am dealing with dealerships in Plano, TX, Houston, TX, New Orleans, LA; Shreveport, LA; Atlanta, GA; and Baton Rouge, LA. Let me know how YOU turn out. I love this forum action. :)
