Thanks (again) ocautoseeker, This lower MF for May makes about a $25/mo lower payment than Apr rates . Now to decide between M35 and ES350. On a 15K lease gas is $42/mo less w/ES350!!!
Price 2009 RX350
by rlwaltrip on Mon May 12 14:17:42 PDT 2008
I am still not certain what I should pay for a 2009 RX350 with nav + prem pkg. I have been offered 2 different prices for MSRP of $45981: One dealer gave $2500 off MSRP for total of $43491. Another dealer gave 5% off MSRP - $250 gas card for total of $43432. I live near Pittsburgh and am not sure if these are good prices??? I would appreciate any input.
Summertime buy or lease LS460/SWB in NYC
by bermanslaw on Fri May 09 09:00:58 PDT 2008
I'm new to the forum concept but have already learned much from reading recent posts, so I'm hoping for some sound advice & guidance. I'm coming off a long lease on an MB CL500 (fabulous car) on July 1 and am seriously interested in the "08 LS460 SWB. I've never had a Lexus before. Having moved into Manhattan from the commuting suburbs, I expect my annual mileage to fall well below 10K, though a 7500K lease mileage option may be cutting things a bit close. If I purchase, I will finance. In either event , I never opt for down payments and will pay the sales tax up front. Here are my questions: 1. Manhattan/environs dealer or widen the search? Recent comments suggest that FL dealers are giving great deals while NYC dealers are still pretending the economy's flush, but the prospect of negotiating and taking delivery from afar seems daunting. 2. Wait til summer to make a deal or start now? I can do without a car if needs be til September, so I feel no urgency on that score. Waiting seems like a good bet, given the economy, slowing auto sales volume and rising gas prices, but if there's a gas tax holiday and an unexpected bump in volume, I could find myself with fewer choices as the '09 model year draws near. 3. Purchase or lease? Here, my inquiry relates to which offers the best bang for the buck at the moment in terms of promotions, interest factors, etc. 4. Either way, do I have any realistic chance of making a deal that will keep my monthly payment under $1K without making a down payment? I've read about those prepaid multiple security deposits and wonder whether that is a sensible tactic. I will welcome your comments. Many thanks.

Gas is still going up. We are in the midst of a recession. Rice shortages. Mortgage crisis'. 09 model release coming in August. Deals are only going to get better.
Re: what to check when picking up a new car [milym]

any mileage under 500 should be acceptable. Although I would suspect much lower than that. Your warranty will not start until you sign the paperwork and the existing mileage will be noted extending your warranty to the respective start mileage. Look for any dings or scratches as these are not covered under warranty. If there are any minor scratches or dings have them note them and they will fix them for you at some point in time if you do not want to wait after you purchase the car. Although there should be no scratches or dings it's not unusual to find one or two. It's not a deal breaker. Get a full tank of gas from them as well.

Hi destiny3, I am happy to help, the dealer is Lexus of Northshore, go to lexus.com and choose a dealer in the milaukee area, the e-mail goes to the person I dealt with (I think forum rule forbids from posting names). Anyways the vehicle is great, put together so well, the fit and finish is amazing! Only disappointment so far has been the gas mileage, getting about mids 17s in the city! Thanks!
