Florida Pricing

Thanks to everyone here! I wanted to help the next person get a good price too. I live in Jacksonville, FL and today I drove off in my 2007 ES350 from the Sarasota Lexus dealer. I got the premium plus with navigation in a starfire color. The MSRP was 41002. I set out with the goal of getting $3k off of MSRP. From this forum, it seemed this would be difficult on the east coast. I visited the dealer in Jacksonville and was told this was crazy. They were able to sell all of their ES350 for about $500 off of MSRP. It seems most dealers in the FL-GA area don’t even have ES350’s on the lot. So they get whatever they want! I then emailed every dealer in Florida and select GA dealers with my offer to purchase at $3k off of MSRP. This was probably about 15 dealers. Most (about 10 dealers) said I was crazy. About 5 dealers opened a dialogue with me, the one dealer that stood out was Wilde Lexus of Sarasota. They really gave me the prices and direct answers I was seeking. We drove down to Sarasota today and completed the sale. I had no trade. The price was $3K off of MSRP. For anyone shopping in Florida, I would definitely check with the Sarasota dealership (first class) but also with dealers in Miami. You could probably even do a little better then $3k of MSRP right now with the end of the month and quarter coming up. I had one Miami dealer email me a “ to bad, so sad” email that they have done $3800 off of MSRP deals after I told them I reached a deal with another dealer.
We got our IS350 yesterday :)

We're from Jacksonville, FL and had to go to Fort Myers to see somebody. We figured while we were down there we would stop by the FIVE lexus dealers that are on the way there and back home, since lexus of Jacksonville wouldn't budge from MSRP and LIED to us about the price on a IS250 w/ navi. They are incredibly rude, not even a greeting when we walked into the place. You could stand outside for five hours and no one would come up to you and ask if you needed help. Well anyway, after running our errand in Fort Myers, it was only 9 am and we decided to stop by Scanlon Lexus of Fort Myers since it was only twenty minutes away. We wanted a black on black IS250 with navi, but they only had one with beige interior. So, we sat there and we were like well, you don't have what we want and if you order it, then we won't get as much of a good deal. SO they brought around an IS350 black on black. We were like okay, that's why we didn't want it because we didn't feel like the extra G's were worth the horsepower. To make a long story short (and I hate it when people aren't clear on just what they got): IS350 (msrp 35440) -navi (msrp 2550) -premium plus package (msrp 1290) -18 inch wheels w/ summer tires (msrp 720) TOTAL MSRP 40,590 (delivery fee incl.) We got it for $36,200 (not inc tax, etc) :) My fiancee and I's first time buying a car and we're in our very early twenties. We will not only remember the experience because it was our first car purchase, but because this dealership is absolutely amazing. The salesman was absolutely delightful and the finance manager was very friendly and welcoming as well. ALso, they give you the most amazing box of chocolates (almost as awesome as the car) by Norman Love Confections. MMM!!

I posted a couple of weeks ago but the moderator deleted the post because I offered to share the salesman's name; I won't make that mistake again. ;) I live in the Seattle area and the dealerships here must think that Lexi on their lots have gold bricks in the trunk. They won't budge off sticker. One even gave me the line that I should buy from him because he made an agreement with Lexus not to sell at 2nd sticker. (I haven't seen one yet who has done this anyway) To compound the problem, none here could get a blk/blk 430 fully loaded. After reading H. Powders' post, I called a FL dealership. I told the salesman about H. Powders' deal, told him that I was ready to buy today if he had a blk/blk 430 fully loaded. While he didn't have one in stock, there was one coming on 6/26 (I didn't have to factory order to get what I wanted nor wait 12-16 weeks like my local low volume guys said. with their 1GS430 allocation per month, i can see why blk/blk is an impossibility) The best part...without haggling at all, I got close to 4500 off of sticker. This pays the $1000 shipping from FL to Washington State, the DVD screens in the headrests for my daughter and I'll still be saving $$$. The key...find a high volume dealership. One who moves 14 GS's per month; not 2. Black Magic will be arriving at the Port of Jacksonville this Sunday and I should be pushing the Start Button by mid July...Good luck gang.
Great Deal with Credit Union

We never thought buying service prices could be so good. We did the whole deal over the phone because we live in Jacksonville, FL, and the only dealer our buying service works with is in Miami. When we got there, everything was ready to go. All we had to do was give them money (we arranged our own financing) sign papers, move stuff from old car to new, and give them our trade in. It took 45 minutes, tops. - FWD - neptune blue, ivory interior - premium plus - nav system/camera - 18" wheels - Heated front seats w/ RS wipers - Cargo mat/wheel locks MSRP: $42,478 PAID: $37,340 + TTL My only issue was my trade in -- which was a leased Acura that still had 2 years left on the lease. I was in a bad position, and the Edmunds trade in value was less than the dealer payoff amount. . . Still, the dealer gave me within a couple hundred of the Edmunds trade-in value and using it as a trade in decreased our taxes, so we weren't that far off in the end.
Lexus of Jacksonville

We purchased a 330 from Lexus of Jacksonville and they brought it 150 miles to my home. Details are Breakwater Blue w/light gray, FWD, Prem Plus, NAV, heated seats, 18" wheels, cargo mat. MSRP was $42,478 including shipping. Discount was $2,478. Delivery to my home, valet service for warranty or service, and valet service for our 2000 RX 300 (purchased elsewhere) are included. Bank financing at 3.44% for 60 months. They were very easy to deal with (I shopped all over Florida) and very nice people. Many of the details I learned on this board helped me greatly, so thanks to all who shared their experiences. Jay
