I am looking to purchase an rx . I am in De and weren't sure if you were closer to the Wilm. Dealership( not affiliated with Cantera) than the N.J. Cantera dealership. Please post how you make out. Good Luck.
group purchase

Hi everyone, I was told by a dealership that the luxury package is only with the navigation package. Is this true? I didn't see it on Edmunds or the Lexus build your vehicle site. I also told the dealer I am not sure if I want heated/cooled seats and his response was "all 2010 rx 350 are equipped with them." True or false? Anyone in the pa/de/md/nj area interested in doing a multi purchase. I did see some posts last fall where a few people did that. I inquired about it and the dealership kept upping the amount by a few hundred dollars. He stated the contact person for the group was confused on the figures. I am ready to purchase. I just would stay away from that dealership(Lexus of Chester Springs)
Did I F* up?

Ok, so I want to lease the ES 350 here in TX this month since it will be sales tax free, I have excellent credit 780-800 range for all 3. Today is Cinco de Mayo, and I have put my feelers out after being in contact w/ 3 dealers...I've gotten 2 quotes from the 3: $40,100 & $40,900. I want prem plus pkg, navi/backup cam, power sunshade, park assist, pref accessory, etc, etc, + chrome wheels and satellite radio, I've done research for invoice prices and that comes out to about 39,100 including destination...I understand that Lexus has a 13% profit margin + 2% holdback on base model price, with those figures, their actual cost is about $38,039....I offered $38,500, and he declined. I said ok, thanks, bye....this is just one of the 3 dealers, the one that quoted me the lowest in the 1st place. Did I mess up by quoting a # after his number? I think it's fair given the state of the economy and the fact that lexus sales plummeted almost 40% this past yr. Oh, and I'm a woman, so I know the cards are stacked against me. Please help\. thnx!!!

The Sunday lot cruise is a good idea. Although I have been corresponding via e-mail with dealerships some are not close by. I have been waiting over 1 week for my local (only) dealership in De. to let me know what inventory they have or are expecting. Another dealer out of state responded to an e-mail today but did not give me info on a vehicle I was interested in. I am totally disgusted with the whole process. If I didn' like the car so much I would have moved on. I am going to contact Lexus corporate office. A family member stated if the dealerships are this difficult to deal with how will they treat you after the sale. She has a good point. In this economy I can't imagine the showrooms being so busy the sales team can't respond to an e-mail. Just had to vent. I also noticed other people were experiencing the same response to there request. ???????????????

Yes, there are a few '09 RX 350's left but it depends on where you are. I bought mine a month ago when there were quite a few and dealers were anxious to move them. Now, the supply is a lot thinner in the Des Moines. Iowa area.

Thanks for the info. How did you communicate with the dealership. Were they honest and easy to deal with? Did you say they will honor the same deal on other vehicles. I am intersted in the smokey granite mica with premium plus package and w/o navi. How far is Wilkie from the DE/PA line? Thanks again Enjoy your new car.
