I was quoted a price of $31468 incl. premium package plus tax and license for a new RX350. Price is good until 2/02/09 as mfg rebate goes off. Internet salesman at South Bay Lexus in Torrance, CA.

I too am in DFW area but from SoCal. Just toying with a lease on a new ES 350 as I've just bought a new Buick Lucerne Super. These figures from two weeks ago: Park Place Lexus: $539/mo for 48 mos. + $2000 = $27,872 total (msrp = $37,930) South Bay Lexus (Torrance, CA): $429/mo for 36 mos. + $3499 = $18,944 total (msrp = ?) Seems like a no brainer--if the DFW dealers won't match this deal, make a deal through e-mail or phone and go out to CA and pick up your new ES350. You may even be able to have them add 1,500 miles to your lease to compensate for the road trip back to DFW.

My opinion is NO. In mid-February the sticker price on the AWD went up $250. My dealer stated that the price also went up on the FWD. Why would the price go up, just to go down a few months later. My 2 cents.
