Re: End of lease LR3 [jjf030]: by ctfarmboy on Mon Mar 31 06:16:18 PDT 2008; I'm located in Northern NJ. this thing is fully loaded HSE, sticker of $57,950. It has 8,000 miles, which means it could cost me a second round of brakes/tires - my current LR3 SE needed brakes/tires at 20k miles.

Dont need 19" wheels, and dont notice much difference in the tiny bit of bottom trim color coded in the HSE (I am sure I can upgrade later aftermarket if I were so inclined). Emailed dealer today and they do have one left and will give me the $3K off + $1K off for auto show discount. So not bad, but not as good as these NJ guys are reporting. I am still not 100% convinced on this vehicle though. Quality issues, company sale to INDIA, and a few other things have me concerned. Biggest question is will they fix these next year? 1st year of a model really has me worried. Any new car should last 50Kmi... its after the warantee expires that I worry. 100K on my Subie and no issues.

Re: Land Rover Range Rover: Lease Questions [rangerovers]: by de6624 on Sat Jan 12 22:46:53 PST 2008; ok I live in ny an have an 03 rr so i will be trading in soon,,,,,,,my current information is with a 700 score and 6k down it will be bout 850 - 900 ,,,,,no higher than 960, but this all depends all on your lease rates. Varies by state,,,,,,NJ i say your rate will be 870 per month ,,,,,and thats good,,,,,i no people paying 990 or so, u will be fine though.

I really want to lease a range rover sport but I'm waiting until my current lease is up I just wanted to know if someone can break down the amount of money I would have to pay in order to get a good down payment. Before I drove the lexus I had a BMW X5 and I want another truck. My friend told me I could put down $6,000 and have tier 0 credit right, and get it for like 6 something a month in NJ Paramus. Right now I have 685, 675, 670, but in March 07 I had 719 by 2011 all credit cards will be paid off, and my credit score should increase rapidly. I currently pay 777 but I want to know what should I do and what is all the residual rate cap and all that .00259 stuff people are talking about just so I can get an idea.

Very good dealership, I was able to negotiate price via email, so rest of the transection was very quick. BTW LR2 runs very smooth. I already put 175 miles in two days.
