Price to purchase a 2007 RRS
by wolverineinmn on Tue Aug 14 16:48:27 PDT 2007
I bought a RRS HSE yesterday. It came Black(Java) with Tan (alpaca). I got sirius, Luxury and Rear entertainment (what can I say my 10 yr old wanted the Buick Enclave so I bribed her). I can say that when I checked around the country that 2007's are disappearing rapidly. Hope this helps someone get a deal/ These are the discounts I received $1500 coupon (yep fill out the survey, three days later like magic in your email inbox) $4000 Factory Money $2800 From my dealer who wanted to pay a thousand less but matched a deal I got out of state all told 8300 off of msrp there were no adders except tax, title and license fees The vehicle is coming out of Peoria, IL and being shipped to MN at no charge

Just took delivery of an 06 V8 SE with 3rd row/climate package, lighting package and sirius radio. It was a service loaner with just over 4k miles. Looked it over very thoroughly before buying and it was pristine. Tire wear looked fine. It is the grey with black interior. So far, very happy. Love the truck and it is my first time owning a V8. Wow. Love the sound of it. Got it for $470/month including taxes. Only first payment down. 24/24k mile lease. I think I got a good deal for a 2 year lease. I did notice on my lease contract that it has a $395 disposition fee if I turn it in at lease expiration. Didn't catch that when I signed. I wonder if that is a Land Rover thing or if the dealer added that themselves. All in all, a good buying experience from LR Hoffman Estates, IL
Re: 2006 LR3 SE V8 Lease Offer [50k]

50k - did you end up buying from Fields in Madison? I am dealing with them right now but they are being a bit evasive over the phone. I was just wondering who you dealt with there. Apparently Bob the sales manager is going to call me later today with some numbers. I hope to get a similar deal to the person who leased from Fields in Winnetka, IL.

Today I Leased a 2006 V8 SE 7 seat black/black fairly loaded with exception of no nav and dvd. Has cold weather package, trailer hitch, xenon, rain sensor wipers, etc 24 month lease @ 420 per month...i paid taxes up front, otherwise no money down. car was a service loaner with 3100 miles. msrp was 51,000. i think i got a fairly nice lease deal. i drove and researched every other suv in class and nothing was close to this price. Howard Orloff Missing iPod
by u2jrmw on Tue Feb 21 14:46:35 PST 2006
This is a story about my experience looking at a Jag, but it really relates to the dealership as a whole and they are a LR dealership as well. Just wanted to share my disgusting experience with Howard Orloff Jaguar in Chicago. Last night I went to take a look at an X-Type at aforementioned dealer, they don't have parking space in downtown Chicago so the use their porters to valet. Before I pulled in I put my iPod in the drawer under my seat so it would at least be away from temptation. The guy working there asked me to pull the car up and leave the keys in so they could move it. I went away to look at the X-type. When I came back about 15 minutes later I reached into that drawer and my iPod was gone. My car had been moved so they had driven it. I searched around, but obviously it had been stolen. The guy that had been attending to my car (not the one who had moved it and the sales manager both looked as well. No sign of it. I have since searched my car 4 times, it is not a nano so it can't vanish. They looked concerned and assured me I would get a call from one of the owners the next day who would make sure it got sorted. So I called them the next morning around 10a.m. and left a message with the owner. I didn't hear back so I dropped by at 11. The sales manager said he had just got in and hadn't had time to review the security tapes. Away he goes for 20 minutes. When he comes back he tells me that the tapes show only one person in my car, and he trusts them explicitly... He said there was nothing else he could do and he would need to talk to the owner later that day and I would get a call. Didn't hear anything at 3pm. Left another message for the owner. Got a call at 3:30pm from the sales manager telling me they re-reviewed the tapes and saw nothing suspicious and there is nothing else they can do. I filed a police report and a complaint with Jaguar NA, and I will be taking them to small claims court. Not only am I annoyed at their final response, all the way through the process I felt like they thought I was trying it on, or they knew that I would have to end up taking them to court and they didn't think I would. My advice avoid this dealership like the plague.
Any good deals on HSEs?
by cpp on Mon Jul 18 09:54:33 PDT 2005
Have the dealers started coming down on price, or are the HSEs still pulling full sticker? We're just about ready to buy... Thanks...
