Buying a car from a Kia Car Dealer
Why are you dumping such a nice Rogue with such low mileage in the first place? I'll agree the Kia, and the Hyundai sister ute, are really nice rides but why get rid of the Rogue? Only reason I ask is that I sat in a few Rogues the other day and they seemed to be a nice truck, and one with such low mileage and leather should be a sweet ride. Or maybe it's just that you want something new. I personally prefer the Hyundai version but hey, that's just personal preference. I agree with the others here...tell the dealer you're sorry, but you've changed your mind at this point. You don't even need to say that the money being offered on your trade is unacceptable...just that you've changed your mind at this time. Pretty sure they'll find another buyer for the dealer traded car. If you don't, you'll hate this car from day 1, not a good situation at all. Unwind the deal, keep what you have a bit longer & you'll be so much happier. If by the end of the year you still want the Rogue gone, try again. Sometimes just stepping back for awhile is the best course of action to take. You made a mistake...luckily it's not to late to get out of a bad decision. Good luck and stay strong. After all, it's your $ at stake here. The Sandman :)
I couldn't refuse. I have been shopping for two months looking at everything from a Mazda3 to a used Acura TL. I never imagined myself in a Kia until I drove one. Then the manager threw the invoice on the table and offered me invoice price and I keep any rebates on a spicy red SX. Without negotiating, just gave it to me. Of course they still made money, (they wouldn't stay in business if they didn't) but I sure feel like I got great value. I 35+ mpg vehicle with 274 hp for less than $25,000 plus ttl. This was the best car buying experience I have had in 30 years of buying vehicles.
Can I get current leasing numbers on a 2011 Kia Sorento EX 6-Cylinder FWD, 36 month, 12,000 miles per year, Florida Panhandle? MF and residual, please? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I just saw your post and think I too may be making a mistake, if I understand you correctly. I recently purchased (new)2007 Sedona and a Spectra. I thought manual said it needs service/oil change every 7500 miles. I drive mostly city driving.did I get this wrong? Also- do you know if I have to do oil changes and services at a KIA dealership in order to maintain the warrantee? Lastly, once I am writing to you- would you or anyone know why -on both Sedona and Spectra- once every 2 weeks or so I shut off car and find the parking lights stay on.I do not have a setting marked "auto" ut I leave switch on the picture of the eyes and lights USUALLY go on automatically and off whenever I shut car...except once in a while ...???... I appreciate any help you can give me .Thanks.
Turned the Sorrento in earlier this evening to Enterprise. Totally unimpressed with the car. With only 7230 on the odo, the car shuddered from a stop when I started to accelerate. Very disconcerting. It sure moved once it got going and the brakes worked o k, don't know if it had ABS. The plastics were not up to Japanese standards and it wouldn't fit in the garage. The mileage was worse than I expected also. I did love the high seating position though...a nice commanding view of the road ahead. I wonder if the Sportage would be a better fit for me when the time comes. Still unsure about the long term reliability & quality of the interior parts though. Think I'd rather pony up a little more for the Rav4 or the CRV and get the Toyota/Honda quality. I know one pays a premium for them, but they do set the benchmark in the small ute class...hands down! Just my $.02 here after having driven the Sorrento about 100 miles. The Sandman :(
