Re: Anyone buy an '09 EX? [smoothsailin] by alamocity on Sun Apr 05 23:43:06 PDT 2009

I went to the Kia Motors web site and only saw a rebate for the 08 models good through 6-1-09 for $4000.00. I'd be shocked if they offered the same rebate on the 09's since they haven't been out that long.

Sounds like you got a great deal, seems like dealers really want to move them out. Best I've seen here is $14,675.

Re: Purchased my '08 LX V6 on 2/25/09 [smoothsailin] by alamocity on Sun Mar 01 07:30:27 PST 2009

Yes, the dealers currently have great deals going on for both the 08 Optima and Rondo's, as an example the 4 cylinder LX model moderately equipped can be bought for less than $14,000 easily. As for gas mileage from what I've seen on the kia forum gas mileage seems to be running about 22MPG combined with a noticeable drop off occurring from 70 MPH on up.

Re: How much did I get ripped off? [renu_p] by alamocity on Thu Apr 03 22:28:02 PDT 2008

You should be able to get internet quotes on the Rondo from dealerships in your area by going to the dealership's web site, though their initial quote may be MSRP with the standard come on in to the dealership. As for the price the key is to do your homework beforehand and know your price before stepping in the dealership.

Well I've seen it advertised for less elsewhere, but in general good rule of thumb is invoice price less rebate. I would suggest in the future that you look on Edmund's first to see what others are paying,so that when you walk in to a dealership you will have a price range to work with.
