Buying a car from a Kia Car Dealer

Re: Kia Optima LX A/T Lease Pricing [Car_man] by rraman3110 on Tue Sep 27 10:48:30 PDT 2011

Family just leased a 2011 KIA Optima EX 2.4 with the Technology/ Premium package. I cant remember all the details but I know our family walked out with a lease of $329 over 36month with 12k miles. This was in PA at Kia of West Chester.

Re: Got a deal on a Rondo! [skiingyac] by khdamighty on Thu May 10 14:15:57 PDT 2007

Wow! I have been looking at the Rondo for a few months now, and I decided to check out the forums on edmunds. you are right, savvy buyers should always make the dealership compete for the best price out there. I found the best deal at Kia of West Chester in PA. :D They offered to let me take the Rondo I wanted home with me for the weekend and make sure I liked it, and to show my husband. What a breath of fresh air! I found Martin Kia in Newark, De to be very pushy and not very nice to me (a female) by myself with no man to watch over me. They just cut me a price and sent me on my way. Price isn't the most important aspect out there. I find that being treated with respect and not talked down to can make any purchase feel better. We purchased our brand New 2007 Kia Rondo from Kia of West Chester. We brought our kids and they had a blast watching cartoons and drawing in these fun packs they give out to the kids. Kepp in mind too that I want someone there for me, even after I leave with my new car. I don't think those guys at Martin Kia would give me the time of day if i had a question or problem with my new car a year from now. I hope this helps anyone else looking for a new Kia in the West Chester Area - go to Kia of West Chester, they were awesome to my family!

You are right on the money, thanks for the advice!! I just got a loaded Rondo LX 4cyl (convenience package, popular equipment, 3rd row, floor mats) for $17,650 after the $750 rebate thru the Kia financing. Got it from Martin Kia in Newark, DE. EXCELLENT experience. Got a slightly higher quote from Kia of West Chester, PA who proudly claimed nobody could beat it because they are the #2 dealer on the east cost and do 3x the volume of Martin. Showed it to Martin, and Martin immediately came in $300 lower than West Chester (and $600 lower than their first offer in my prev post)!

Re: west chester pa is this a good deal [windnotastar] by bluedevils on Sat Nov 26 13:04:51 PST 2005

1. What model and options are on this Sedona? Nobody can tell you how good or bad the price is, unless we know what vehicle you are considering. 2. How much is the Windstar worth? A trade-in makes it tougher to figure out how good a deal you are getting on the new vehicle. Look up the Windstar's value -- both private party sale and trade-in value-- on a couple sites and see what they are going for on autotrader.com. If the dealer is offering $1500 for it, chances are they will try to clean it up and get $4000-5000 for it on their lot and you might be able to get $3000 for it on your own. 3. Did you arrange the 6.6% financing yourself, or was it offered by the dealer? If the dealer offered it, chances are you could do better arranging your own. They might have gotten a 5.5% or 6% rate from one of the banks they work with and are pocketing the difference and offering you only 6.6%.
