Re: Los Angeles lease prices I just got today [ericzm] by vlilich on Tue Feb 07 07:17:18 PST 2012

Your quotes make me feel comfortable with what a local dealer gave me in PA. Ex Turbo with and without premium : w/o premium - 289/mo (tax included - 9%) and 505 down (includes 1st payment) w/ premium - 322/mo (tax included - 9%) and 538 down (includes 1st payment) both quotes include 2k worth of incetives like yours (leasing altima currently) In the prices paid forum i am seeing some crazy quotes where people are getting lower monthly payments for SX which seems entirely impossible based on what I am being quoted by more than one dealer.

Re: Souls at invoice [Laura3436] by honkinunit on Mon Oct 26 13:58:15 PDT 2009

Wow. At $15,707 you actually got the car for under invoice, assuming the $695 destination is included in the $15,707. For that price I could fly to PA and drive it back to CO for less than what the local rip-off artist is quoting me. They are insisting that they can only offer $500 under MSRP, but then the destination and a $399 "dealer fee" get added back in. No thanks. When I am ready to buy, I will start emailing surrounding states and try to strike a balance between the distance I have to travel and the price. Colorado dealers are even worse than California, because it is so far to go to get competing markets. Dealers in Kansas City sell a lot of cars to Coloradans for this reason, especially Subarus. The new Legacy is going for $2000 over MSRP here.

Re: Costco [taximom5] by skiingyac on Tue Apr 17 09:57:24 PDT 2007

You can probably extend your search into Ohio & other states too, just double-check with the taxes... I live in DE and if I bought in PA, I would pay tax as if I bought it in DE. A similar thing would probably work for OH (though I think PA's taxes are about the worst anyway). I'd give you the name of the guy I got mine from, but you probably don't want to drive 6 hrs except as a last resort (though its probably worth it if you would really save $1200).

Re: west chester pa is this a good deal [windnotastar] by bluedevils on Sat Nov 26 13:04:51 PST 2005

1. What model and options are on this Sedona? Nobody can tell you how good or bad the price is, unless we know what vehicle you are considering. 2. How much is the Windstar worth? A trade-in makes it tougher to figure out how good a deal you are getting on the new vehicle. Look up the Windstar's value -- both private party sale and trade-in value-- on a couple sites and see what they are going for on autotrader.com. If the dealer is offering $1500 for it, chances are they will try to clean it up and get $4000-5000 for it on their lot and you might be able to get $3000 for it on your own. 3. Did you arrange the 6.6% financing yourself, or was it offered by the dealer? If the dealer offered it, chances are you could do better arranging your own. They might have gotten a 5.5% or 6% rate from one of the banks they work with and are pocketing the difference and offering you only 6.6%.
