...last 5 cars, including my Rondo. Start with an internet or sales club inquiry. Talk. Go to another internet service for a wider net. Negotiate. Insist on no nonsense, that you're buying cash and are close to a decision. Once you've rented or test driven for a while, no need to get behind the wheel again with any dealer. My Rondo dealer was so convinced I would walk if they weren't business-like, cooperative and efficient, they offered to deliver the car to my driveway, on a holiday weekend. And they did; I signed the paper work in my living room You got a great price for a great car. Pretty much identical to mine. Good luck!

Like I've said several times on this board, I've bought/owned 23 new cars over the last 34 years, and I've not been more impressed/satisfied after the sale than I've been with the Rondo. Far as I am concerned, it is the best kept secret on the automotive market. I have the LX 7 seater with the I-4. While I don't need the 2 extra seats, it's great having them there if I do. And because they fold away, all the better.

2007 LX I-4, Urban Gray, with AT and A/C (don't they all have?), roof rack, 7-seats. Final price: $9900, with $6500 trade = $16,400 in the driveway. The trade was a 2001 Camry with 80K, valued at the time by KBB at $6200. So I was real pleased all around. This dealer was trying hard to clear the '07's. Now, after 4 months and 3500 miles, I am realizing just what an excellent vehicle the Rondo is, making me think I stole something and owe somebody some money!

I was particular on color and options and local dealers were not willing to deal so I flew 600 miles to get my Rondo. 2007 gray with gray, EX, V6, Premium, Leather, 50/50 3rd Row Seat, crossbars, and carpetted mats -- $21,887 after $750 rebate. Compares to 21,320 invoice, 23,040 MSRP, and 22,117 Edmunds TMV. So getting the exact color and package I wanted at $230 less than Edmunds TMV and $567 above invoice felt like a good deal. Dealer in Wilmington NC offered my 4th and 5th choice color at full MSRP + $250 and no wiggle room. Dave at Monroeville KIA was great! I love this vehicle. Rondo is a true one of a kind. Only Rondo and Mazda5 met all my requirements and Mazda5 was about 2 grand more, had one less seat, looked more minivan-ish and has no ESC (which I think is a must).
