My current car, a '92 Taurus wagon has been good to me but it's not made anymore. On that deal, I had the dealer's cost with me and negotiated UP from that. Forget the MSRP! I had a very good experience with the Ford dealer back then. He totaled everything up, said "I think I'm entitled to make $350 on the car" which I felt was reasonable, and we made the deal. I hope my next car will be that easy! Good luck! :)

[rosco11]: by ddesai on Fri Mar 23 11:00:32 PDT 2007; We paid $30,014 (price includes $139 "doc fee") for 2007 Kia sedona EX (LC, PE and PK packages, MSRP $31,995). We live in northern NJ. Another dealer had quoted us around 30,000 BUT this included $750 rebate and did NOT include additional $318 "doc fee" and $800 "advertising fee". Have been driving for around 2 weeks. 15 MPG for the first tank. A little smaller than the 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette GL that it replaced. Happy with the Sedona overall.

I have been following the Rondo for months and after calling every dealership in a 200 mile radius, I chanced upon the Cherry Hill Triplex in Cherry Hill, NJ and they had the EXACT model I wanted. Color, interior, options, everything! Here's the specs: 2007 Kia Rondo EX V6 Volcanic Red/Beige Leather Interior Premium Package Leather Package Third Row 50/50 Split Folding Seat Carpeted Floormats (4 Pieces) $22,800 +ttl Split pretty close between Invoice and MSRP based on info from Edmunds.com. Really can't complain considering the newness of the vehicle and this particular model had almost every option, when NO other dealer even had a V6! I may be the first owner of a v6 model on the east coast! (<--- wishful thinking :-) ) All in all a very smooth deal. Dealer was very nice, held the car for me for a day. I brought my own financing and even did OK on the trade ('97 Volvo V90). I'd recommend the dealer without reserve.

A quote from my dealer: by enoelle on Mon Aug 21 13:18:10 PDT 2006; I have researched the Sedona I want and here is what I was quoted...For an 06' EX model with the Luxery Package and the Power Package, $26, 830 before tax and tags. I went through BJ's Wholesale Club and a dealer in NJ called me to work with me. He only had the Glacier Blue one in stock with those options and told me it would cost me $500 to do a dealer swap. So I took the pricing he gave me and went to my local dealer, Ertle in Stroudsburg, PA. They do not have the Sunset Gold/Beige Leather Int. in stock, but they are currently looking for one for me. If they find it, it will not cost me anything for them to dealer swap. They gave me a price of $26,630. I am also going to get a tow hitch on it and it is going to cost me $475 extra. Can anyone tell me if, overall, this is a good deal on the model I want? This is inclusive of the $1500 rebate that Kia has for August. Thank you in advance!

good, and bad: by beyond_help on Tue Feb 22 13:23:12 PST 2005; very bad experience at cherry hill triplex, cherry hill , nj don't event consider going there!! unless you like PAIN!! very good experiance at burlington kia, burlington, nj can not say enough good things about these people and i have purchased alot of new vehicles. these people took the PAIN out of purchasing a new kia. and the price was GREAT

Re: Kia Sorento: Prices Paid & Buying Experience [tima]: by beyond_help on Tue Mar 01 06:08:00 PST 2005; it is tough to give advise to other people, it is very subjective. there is always give and take on prices and varies form dealer to dealer and time of month and dealer stock. and always consider factory rebates. then there is the question of your requirements. ours were, 3500lb towing capisity, tailgate window opening separately from tailgate door, part time 4 wheel drive, NO full time 4 wheel drive, NO anti lock brakes, minimum of 8 inches of ground clearance and a few others. be aware that there are different types of ALL wheel drive systems, some much better than others. then of course there are 2 wd versions also what are your requirements? we purchased a 05 sorento EX a Highlander did not meet our requirements and would have cost around 28-29K the sorento was 5K under that. and with the 6/60 10/100 warrantee for us was an easy choise along with the Highlander and the sorento we researhed many others as well
