2007 Rondo LX 14000 Lawrence MA: by bmmp223 on Sun Jan 13 06:55:28 PST 2008; I just purchased a new 07 rondo lx... sticker 18900 for 14000. This is the base model auto a/c convience pkg 4 cyl. could have had low finance and 500 off but took the entire 2500 rebate and negotiated form there. Dealer was commonwealth and both the salesman and the sm were pleasant and non pushy. Grind consisted of six easy steps msrp, 15500 15000 14700 14500 14250 and the final (where i started 14000) I think the fact its an 07 helped a ton. anyone got one cheaper?

The salesperson quoted us $20500 for the car,and taold us they could take our Subaru Forester that we are leasing,and have 9 months left on as a trade-in,and they will give us enough to payoff the remainder of the payments,and the residual. The salesperson claims the price they quoted is $700 under invoice plus the $2000 rebate Kia is offering.How does this deal sound?I know Kia Country is selling at $18300 on ebay,but we live in MA,and the possible savings may not be worth the long trip,plus I am a bit skeptical about the deal they are offering on ebay. How will the Kia compare to our Subaru which has been nothing short of flawless for the 27 months we have owned it?How is Kia for standing behind the car,and thier warranty? We are confused as to what to buy,as we ave options of really good deals on Chryslers due to my employee incentive program,and there seems to be a lot of used certified pre owned Hondas around here in our price range.Thanks in advance. Can't compare two cars, but Kia has more goodies for less. Such as auto dimming rearview, heated mirrors, Home Link, sunroof (EX), full spare, foglights (EX or Sport), auto headlights (part if luxury package), etc. It's so far so good. There were some repairs but they were covered under warranty. I am consider the '07 model.
