Sales Manager reneged on offer he signed three hours earlier

Had an awful experience trying to buy a new car here. Sales Manager Devon Poling reneged on an offer we had negotiated with him three hours earlier, saying that the price was actually for a lower trim model. The purchase agreement on which he wrote down the offer and signed, has the vehicle (year, make, model, and trim) typed out on it and it shows the one we wanted, not the lower trim that he claimed the offer was for! So I don't know how he could mess that up.. He was very unapologetic about the whole situation and wouldn’t budge from his new offer that was $1,500 more. We felt tricked, and left the dealership frustrated and angry. If you have to go to a Kia dealership in the Louisville area, I’ve been to all three recently and suggest going to the Clarksville one.

Buyer beware! [non-permissible content removed]!

It wouldn't let me select one star for some reason but in reality it should be no stars. My boyfriend went in to search for a used family car for our family. He picked out a BMW X3. While test driving it the check engine light came on along with the brake light. The dealer said 'oh bmws have electrical problems, the lights just need to be reset' we asked if the service techs could run diagnostics, he shook his head saying that his techs didn't know how to do that on a bmw.......... My boyfriend being naive bought it the next day and it broke down the day after while we all were in the car at 50 miles per hour almost causing a serious car accident while my kids were in the car. Please don't buy used here, they are [non-permissible content removed]! I'll be making sure to spread the word abou this to possibly help future buyers. I would hate to see another family get hurt!

Do not buy from here.

Promised a certain price for a car, then when I went to pick up the vehicle the price went up over $150 monthly. Go here only if you want to get your hopes up and then be let down. Also about 15 employees just standing around doing nothing but texting on their phones. No wonder the need their prices to be so high, if they have to pay that many people to do nothing. Bought a vehicle from Oxmoor Chrysler the same day. GREAT experience. Go there instead.

GOOD EXPERIENCE

From the time I walked in the dealership till my wife left driving the car we were treated with respect over any questions or concerns I had. All salesmen were friendly and I heard many deals being made while I was there with no complaints. I made 3, maybe 4 trips to the dealer before I purchased but the delays were not because of the dealership. I had a good salesman Greg Kelley and had a good experience with the manager Steve Mudd. Both were very helpful and flexible. Can not say enough good about my experience. I have not purchased a new car For my last 3-4 cars so this was all new to me

KIa Store East Lousville

I just bought a used Sportage at a different Kia dealership in louisville, on my way home from the dealership my tire went flat as can be. I was luckly right next to the KIA East store in a different KIA dealership in Louisville. I told them what had happened and im sure it wasnt very polite. They were very understanding, they took my car in right away, immediatly offered me a rental car for the inconvience. Before I could even get a rental car though they rolled my Sportage out with 2 brand new tires and they rotated the other two. They didnt charge me apenny for any of it. It was just good business. Now I will be getting all my work done on my car their.

Kia Store East

I don't normally write these sort of reviews, but after the service I got at the Kia Store East I felt obligated. I had been looking for a used car in Louisville for quite sometime. I wanted to buy a car from somewhere I felt comfortable, but they also had to have a good selection. I never really thought of looking at Kia's during my initial search process, but after walking around their used car lot it was hard to ignore them. I was looking for a moderately used SUV that got decent gas milage. I was not familiar with the Kia Sorento but it definitely caught my eye. After it passed my looks test, i took it for a test drive around the Louisville area and fell in love. The Service I got was from the staff was excellent, he didn't hassle me or try to sell my a bunch of extra junk, he just listened to my needs then helped me get them.

Kia East

A refreshing and positive change I found at Kia East in Louisville, while shopping for a car. For the most part, my cars have been domestic, and the last time I stopped at a Shively dealership, a staple there for 40 plus years, the experience was bad—a nightmare. It was time for a change. I had heard the rumors that Kia was establishing itself as building ever reputable vehicles, and that efficient sales and service staffs were manning growing dealerships around the country to back up the company’s claims. A trip to Kia East on Lagrange Road verified the rumors. The entire staff made for an outstanding effort at this dealership. Even though I purchased a basic vehicle, a Rio, I was amazed at the efficiency and courtesy received. The only problem presented was my own impatience, overlooking a detail, as I rushed the very tolerant sales agent, Rachel Collins, through her list of the car’s checks and balances. I made the incorrect assumption that buying a car is no different than buying a case of Pepsi--it is not. An overlooked ignition security item, again caused due to my haste, was quickly attended to and corrected by a sincerely warm hearted Rachel; I would recommend her efforts, from start to finish-- and beyond, by 100%. By the way, I have had the car for about a month and am quite delighted with it. Kia has built a study, fuel-efficient, and nimble operating vehicle in their Rio. It is a true bargain by any standard in today's' marketplace. Overall, out of a 5 star excellent rating in sales, service, and general dealership's concerns: Kia East easily deserves all five stars. Impressed

To be frank, you hear a lot - a whole lot - of Kia Store ads on the radio, I would guess they advertise as much as any dealer, and though I have to admit some times I get a chuckle out of their impersonation ads, I've listened to them every morning on the way to work for two years and have gotten the point by now. Anyways, they recently advertised a Sportage for 13990 and I had to see if this was real because I was looking at Escapes, and that was like 6 grand less and I've actually started to see a lot of kia reviews that are real positive. I went in Kia Store East and it was pretty darn easy, there was another customer there about the sportage so we were joking about the process whenever we had breaks. The Sportage advertised didn't have air - so I upgraded to it, he did too, I thought for a minute we'd end up trying to buy the same car. We sat and watched this Sportage video they have on the wall whenever we had down time too, and both drove away an hour and a half later. My experience was real positive, in fact I was impressed at how straightforward things were. The only hiccup was that they appraised my trade for kbb value, and the ford dealer had offered me 1500 more. I went the next day to Ford to just sell them my car like they said was cool. Nope, only if I buy their Escape. So now I'm dealing with tire kickers selling the car on my own. Oh well. The Sportage is great though, drives like a million, is good on gas, and just feels good driving a brand new car for a change.
