4DR Unlimited Non-Availabilty: by c650 on Sun Sep 09 13:23:09 PDT 2007; I'm in the market for a 4 door Unlimited. LOVE the Yellow Rubicon for its looks. Don't necessarily need the Rubicon features, so perhaps a Rescue Green Sahara with a hard top and Tow package will do. When looking at a LOT of dealers in Southern Wisconsin as well as during my travels to WV and PA, these vehicles are nowhere to be found! Any insight on the low inventory, or is it just a case of the company being critically/sadly slow to ramp up production to meet the high demand? Perhaps ordering is the way to go, it would just be nice to find more than 1 at a dealer to compare colors/features etc.

Lease deals don's look great: by mf15 on Thu Feb 15 08:28:39 PST 2007; I have leased 4 GC's since 1996. I am currently driving a 04 base 4wd GC, the lease is up in August. Anyhow what I want to say is that on my 02 they had a 6 month pull ahead program and I got the 04, nothing down,no bank fee 0 out of pocket, 289 a month plus 9%pa tax. They must have been even more desperate to move these back then. To me some of these lease payments look high, but of course I have the base model 4wd no extras. They will have to give me an even better deal to lease another, 13 MPG going to work on back roads does not cut it with these gas prices, and when it was over 3.25 a gallon I was really not happy. I suspect they thought they could turn your Mountaineer quickly for profit, they have to make their numbers somewhere. Does PA charge you tax on the Jeep rebate? :sick:

2007 Grand Cherokee Limited - Price Paid: by garsarno on Sat Dec 16 18:34:36 PST 2006; Just signed up for the following: Grand Cherokee Limited - Trailer Tow IV Group, Navigation Group, Quadra Drive, Hemi, Sirius Radio MSRP $41,850 Dealer discount of $3650, Jeep rebate of $3,500. Net $34,700 Traded a 2004 Mountaineer Premier with 53,000 miles, worn tires, few dents / scratches - gave me true Kelly Blue Book trade in value of $13,000. $21,700 difference plus PA 6% tax, $115 plate / title transfer fee. The Lincoln Mercury dealer, where we purchased the 2004 Mountaineer at, had a 2007 Mountaineer Premier, MSRP of $35,869 with V6, Navigation and Sirius radio. Deal was $22,800 difference for a vehicle almost $6,000 less MSRP in comparison to the Grand Cherokee. Rebate of $1,000, $1,200 dealer discount and $12,000 trade in value. Passed on the deal and ran out!

Hold off: by jenn158 on Tue Sep 05 08:49:42 PDT 2006; misterep what part of the country are you from? I'm from PA and according to the jeep website, I can only get $3500 off. What is the extra $1000 for?
