Screwed! Vision Dodge Chrysler in Rochester NY - rips people off by toyoman8 on Fri Mar 11 16:48:10 PST 2011

My dad got screwed. He leased a truck in February 2011 He leased a GCL, MSRP $34,496 x 36mos (smart lease they call it w/ GMAC) Residual $17,500 He traded his 2005 GCL for $12000 (he owed $5200 to the bank) so basically he put down $6800 CASH + first payment of $339 Payments $339 x 35mos. Payout $20,000 (different from residual value) dealers said that the bank sets up payoff. Aquis. fee $895 Tax $900 yeah he is screwed. Then they called him to comeback and resign the lease, to $308 a mos, with $21,000 payoff. WTF is that!!

Hi Rusty, I went in as a Affliates rewards program member (Chrysler supplier), so I received a set 1% under invoice price of the vehicle. Only complain I had with the Affliates program was that I eneded up having to pay about an extra $150 for regional advertising that is gernally waived for the consumer (the dealer showed me the invoice witht he program price on it), so I'm figuring I was about $250 under invoice all together. I don't have the numbers in front of me right now, but will post them later. I do remember sticker on the truck was 40,575. The location in Rochester NY, dealer was Doan Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep.

Best Vehicle Buying Experience - Patrick Pontiac by schafudd on Thu Mar 03 03:52:31 PST 2005

I recently pruchased (picked 'er up Monday) a brand new 2005 Wrangler Unlimited. I picked it up at a local dealer, Patrick Pontiac, near where I work. I was treated amazing. They have a VERY professional staff and a very knowledgeable service department. There was no pressure in the sale (unlike my last vehicle purchase). Patrick is definately a first class operation. If any of you guys are looking and live in Western New York i would check them out the sales and service was just amazing. I would reccomend them to anyone! Happy Trails Scott
