Buying a car from a Jeep Car Dealer
Hi there, I just returned from a dealership feeling pretty good and was hoping to get those feelings confirmed. I sat with the dealer and priced out a build...a 2012 Laredo 4x2 with E Group ( mandatory), 26x package and Nav. The msrp was 35,515, the invoice (man. Cost) was 34,289. He offered me the "FFP" (which is the family and friend price---I am neither) and that was 33,946. He said bottom line price, including chrysler fee and dealership fee would be 34,000. Then I have the option of the 1000 rebate or 1.9% for 60 mos. I think it's a good deal from what I've been reading...any thoughts?
Just got a deal proposed for $450/mos. with $3K down. For a fully loaded (nav, leather, etc) 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Thoughts? Is this a good deal?
I can get a 2011 Grand Cherokee with the Laredo X26 Package and also has the tow package, Nav and a sunroof, sticker is $38800. No money down just first payment, tax etc which is $910 monthly payment is $520 for 15K a year and a 39 month lease also trading in a 2009 Cadillac CTS with 7 Mos left on lease and amounts to negative equity of $700. See other deals this seems to fall in line with a good one but could use anyone's input, thanks.
My dad got screwed. He leased a truck in February 2011 He leased a GCL, MSRP $34,496 x 36mos (smart lease they call it w/ GMAC) Residual $17,500 He traded his 2005 GCL for $12000 (he owed $5200 to the bank) so basically he put down $6800 CASH + first payment of $339 Payments $339 x 35mos. Payout $20,000 (different from residual value) dealers said that the bank sets up payoff. Aquis. fee $895 Tax $900 yeah he is screwed. Then they called him to comeback and resign the lease, to $308 a mos, with $21,000 payoff. WTF is that!!
We are ready to lease an Overland Summit 4x4. 12K/miles, 36 mos with V8 and rear DVD entertainment center. The dealership quoted us $930/month (no $ down, just $97 fees and all in with CT tax). They said no incentives on this car. We have a 2008 Navigator lease to trade in - can anyone give us more clarity on this number? Thanks!
