Re: Help! 09 Overland Demo - deal? [jch4504]
by quest4fun on Thu Nov 05 11:29:31 PST 2009
As per my prior post, paid $36k all incentives included for an new (no miles) Overland with a sticker of $45.6k back in the end of August. Dealer threw in a 5 year maintenance plan to sweeten the deal. This was in the Wash DC/Baltimore area. At that time, looked at three demos, all $47.5k MSRP and all with 5k miles. Dealers were asking $35-$36 with incentives. Overland model is discontinued for 2010 and I'm surprised they even have three 2009s available given the steep incentives that were available for the past several months.Dealers here sold out their inventory and had empty lots in August. Leads me to think they can't move them especially now that incentive programs have ended. You should have more room to negotiate here. BTW - I'm totally impressed with the Overland. Ride, performance and comfort are excellent and the price to value is great. Looked at MB, BMW and Range Rover Sport and know I made the right choice as well as saved a ton of $$$. Best of luck with your purchase! Hope this helped.

Not including taxes, tags, and title. A few Overlands and good stock of Limited's around the Baltimore/DC area. Dealers are very willing to negotiate.
Any Good Deals on Overland Model
by quest4fun on Mon Jun 01 16:52:35 PDT 2009
Thanks to all who post here as I've just started my search for a 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland model and the info is very helpful. Prices I've been getting in the Wash DC area are basically invoice less incentives/rebates. This is even from dealerships who are on the "closing" list as of June 9. Example: MSRP: $47,345 includes Package 24P Dealer price: $38,793 plus taxes, tags, title, freight, processing fees Given the economy and that sales are way down, I think I can do much better. Don't really need the 24P option. Have seen some posts here on Laredos at 33 to 40% off MSRP. Any help on dealers who are willing to discount will be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to travel about 300 miles from DC or have vehicle shipped here. Thanks!
Re: Wrangler Order Pending [jeepfan69]

As of this morning nothing has changed since last time; 16-18 weeks, no holds. However Wranglers, like most vehicles, are usually built in batches with similar options, and DC works with suppliers on a 'just in time' basis, so it's quite possible that your order is waiting for the next batch with your particular options. A 16-18 week lead time when the usual wait is 4-6 weeks indicates that they're flooded with orders and working like crazy. :)

Hi mac, I called DC and found out that the order is in BG - (order has passed edit but cannot be scheduled regardless of sold status). When I called the dealer he "checked into it" and told me that it was in this status due to the Hard Top order that I placed. at which point he stated that if i got a soft top I should have no problem with delivery. I definitly want the HT but i am wondering if you have heard about any issues in the past with delivery being halted due to no hard tops being out there? Seems weird that DC would make such a huge mistake on ordering with the amount of volume that they are supposedly selling. Thanks for your help. Later
Used 05' Laredo..How Low?
by nlp311 on Thu Aug 02 21:19:51 PDT 2007
I am looking to purchase a Laredo with the new body style, in the MD/DC/VA metro area. I have found a 06' that I really like from a well respected dealer. The specifics are as follows: 06' Laredo 38,000 miles $18,677 Has Warranty This price is a bit much for me and wanted to know how much room I have to neotiate..I am trying to stay as close to $15,000 (without oin over as possible) is this a long shot, especially for this vehicle? I know KBB and Edmunds pricing but still think this may be a bit high...
