I don't know how much better it will be, but you could use that info as a bargaining chip on a 2008. You can also get some good deals on remaining 2007 models, but choices are limited (and often Limiteds!), and there's the whole stigma of buying a first-year vehicle. I bought an '08 2WD Sport CVT in late November 2007, and so far I'm happy (but then again, I was looking for a fuel-efficient, versatile vehicle to go with my wife's sedan, and not a rock crawler). I'm a little annoyed at the interior upgrade announcement, but will have to wait and see how substantial a change it brings.

I am not certain what the H Package is, but your dealer is taking you for a ride. I am in the NYC Metro ares, and dealers here need to move a certain amount of cars by 1-1-07. So they are crushing numbers to get lease deals signed. My car was not even on the lot they sent someone to get it and I will have it on Tuesday. I believe that the MSRP on the car is close to $44K. Try having your lease based upon 27 months, you might get some relief there. Other then that, tell the guy my deal and that you will sign today if he matches. I am not sure of the factors as I just wanted to get to a number and I deal with the sales manager at my dealer since I am a return customer. Good luck

What to pay for a 2005 Grand Cherokee: by golfnut7 on Sat Dec 11 16:31:20 PST 2004; Looking for a 05 GC for my daughter. The model we are looking at is a pretty basic 2WD since she is a new driver and I was really expecting to start her out in a used vehicle but..... Current incentives are $2,000 and I figure the worst deal should $2,000 under invoice but should I expect a better deal? I've dealt with several dealers on an '05 Liberty and that is as far as I have gotten them, invoice minus rebates. Should I expect to do better on a '05 Grand Cherokee? Thanks
