I bought a deal demo around 8 months ago. I purchased a 2008 Grand Cherokee Limited with 11,000 miles on it. Bought it for $21,000.00 puls tax and tags. I thought that was a good deal. Also I bought the extended 100,000 mile/ 5yr extended warranty warranty for$1000.00. Does this seem like a good deal????????????????????? Thanks Al

I just went to the dealer in North East Pennsylvania. I was looking at a 2008 Grand Cherokee x package. The MSRP was $35,200.00 they said the best they could do after all the discounts was $25,000.00 What is your opinion on how much I should pay for this vehicle? Also, if anyone knows of any Dealships in the NewYork or Phila area that are motivated to sell an X package let me know I am only 2hrs away and have no problem driving to get a good deal. Thanks Al

Hi all, I have been looking for a few weeks for a new wrangler. I initially started out wanting a 2 door hard top Rubi in red with an auto. I didn't really want any other options. Al I am able to find are other colors, and most in my area are in the 28 to 29K price range. Well I came across a 2009 Unlimited Rubi, it is black but it has about everything else I want. The employee price less the rebate is $29500. Which if I am going to pay $29K anyway it might as well be for a 4 door. Any my question is is there more negotiating room beyond the employee price and rebates and financing? I am selling a bike, truck and jet ski, so I wont need to finance too much. But the more I can save, the safer the loan is in this economy. I thought I read in previous posts members buying theirs for a few thousand less than the employee price plus rebates. The next question will only lead to speculative answers, but with the current incentives scheduled to end thursday, but the impending problems Chrysler is having is there a good chance rebates will improve, or at least the financing go to 60 months? Thanks in advance. Also is that $29K a pretty good deal on a fairly loaded rubi unlimited?
Jeep Liberty Rocky Mountain 4X2

I am in the process of attempting to determine the selling price for this vehicle. The dealers I have contacted have the same pricing schedule and state that this is the price they must have and that they are not making any profit on the vehicles , but are simply moving them out to get ready for the 2006 Models. The specific pricing for the Liberty Rocky Mountain 4X2 I am interested in is indicated below: Base Price $22,165 Total Price with Accessories $24,280 Dealers are Asking For This Price $20,095 Does anyone have any experience with this method of dealing with the car dealers? They appear to be in lock step in this part of the State. (Madison, AL) Is this the lowest price that the dealer will sell this vehicle ? Thanks for any help you may have in this matter.

Hi. I just leased an 07 limited commander with 4.7 V8, nav, back up camera, dvd, remote ignition, power liftgate, bluetooth, etc. in Birmingham, AL. The sticker was $41,500. It was a demo so I got them down to $37,100 minus $2,500 rebate. I am a finance guy and I have done an incredible amount of research on leasing negotiations and was well prepared (this is my first lease). They originally gave me a payment of $550 for 39mo/18k miles. I think the money factor was .00224 and residual of 49%. HOWEVER, they were not calculating the residual off of the MSRP (I don't know what they were using and they woudn't show me). So I walked out. They called me back and I just showed the business manager my calculations and told him that is what I would pay. My new proposed terms were 27mo/15k miles, MF of .0017, residual of 55% of MSRP. He said no one had ever approached him with the amount of detail I had and gave it to me for the "fair" price. Payments came out to $560/mo after tax. He even offered me a job because of how well I understood the process. I hope this helps and make sure that you know the correct numbers that should be used to calculate your lease payment. If you know what your payment should be and they come back with something different then they are using different numbers than you...simple as that. And they WILL do it if you do not point it out to them. Good luck!
