Using your formula I came up with a price of $37310 - around $300 over invoice. I do not understand how they come up with the lease numbers though (24 mths/ 895 down inclusive of 1st month payment/ 577 per mth inclusive of all taxes / the sales tax rate in WA = 9.2). Please let me know if you do. The dealer finally agreed to waive some fees totalling $300 (B&O and some other fee). A search around the Seattle area (with a 100 mile radius) brought up only 2 dealerships - both of which are owned by the same person. Calling the other did not help as they said they could not better the deal. Thanks a lot to Dennis and everyone else for the information and advice! Will post the final price if we go for it.

Are others getting Costco deals? Can they really not offer a deal with Costco even if they are a Costco affiliated dealer?

G35 in the Northwest: by chadw on Sun Dec 24 12:22:38 PST 2006; Just wondering what people are paying in the NW for the G35 Sedan? I am looking for premium with nav and dealers are just not willing to budge. I got the dealer in OR to agree to $500 off MSRP but I'm not sure how much more he is willing to go. I've read on this forum that some people are getting around $1000 above invoice in areas like the eastcoast or southern CA. I live in Seattle so getting a car from over there is not feasible nor is trying to show a dealer here a quote from a NY dealer.

Re: Bought a Scuffed up G35 [simpson]: by peterdh2000 on Fri Sep 17 00:27:35 PDT 2004; what i wouldn't do is go into the dealer acting pissed off. speak to the sales manager and perhaps calmly suggest that this damage was done during the same incident as the splash guard damage, and suggest that a show of goodwill on the part of the dealer in repairing/replacing the wheel would go a long way towards you making the journey to have your future services/purchases done at the far dealer. your local dealer isn't obligated, damage isn't a warranty item. for that matter, the selling dealer isn't really obligated either, as the damage could reasonably have been done in the 2 weeks interim (ie. you couldn't prove by a preponderance of evidence that the dealer damaged your wheel). hence the goodwill approach is likely your best and/or only choice. good luck!

NW deal: by vancmt on Thu Jun 10 23:28:48 PDT 2004; In the market for a G35 sedan leather auto with sunroof. Trying to see if anybody has had any luck in the Portland, OR or Seattle, WA area. Debating if I'm better off negotiating via VPP or internet manager. Also, now with the recent announcements of the'05, any ideas around dealer incentives to clear out '04s. trying to figure out if I should I deal now or wait till July or August.
