09 FX35 w/premium/navigation/touring - Texas: by rockhound2 on Tue Sep 22 15:50:24 PDT 2009; I live in Houston, TX and had a hard time dealing with local dealerships, partly because the color/option combo was rare (RWD, slate blue/graphite, with premium, navigation & deluxe touring). West Infiniti would never give quote (Just come visit!) Emailed every dealership in 300mi radius of Houston. Best offers were from Orr Infiniti in Shreveport at $43037 and Grubbs Infiniti (Euless, TX - near Ft. Worth) at $43073 ($3609 below dealer invoice+destination fee, $7887 below MSRP). Austin Infiniti would have matched the deal, but didn't have the Slate Blue. I went with Grubbs due to drive convenience. Rented an Enterprise car, drove up, and conveniently dropped it off right next door to the dealership! Drove the FX home last weekend - great car!!

2009 G37 Price Paid/Buying Experience: by 240zdude on Mon Aug 31 12:33:55 PDT 2009; 2009 G37 sedan, liquid platinum/graphite, 13 miles, Journey, premium package, illuminated kickplates, alarm inpact sensor, splash guards, trunk mat, trunk cargo net. MSRP $37,910, Invoice $34,867, paid $33,449 with wheel locks and tint included. Tax $2090.56, dealer invoice tax $60.74, doc fee $50.00, transfer fee $33.00, state registration $77.30, state inspection sticker $23.75, OTD price $35,784.35. Cash purchase. Austin Infiniti, Austin, TX. Figured out exactly what I wanted, contacted all other Texas dealers first via email asking if they had the exact car I wanted and what their best price was, dickered back a bit with a couple to improve the offers, then gave Austin Infiniti a chance to bid at the end. I live in Austin and wanted to spend my money locally, if possible. They came in basically at invoice on the first pass, but dropped immediately when I disclosed the other offers I got and indicated I was willing to travel to get my car. Relatively quick, easy experience. For Austin buyers, I highly recommend Akeem Disu at Austin Infiniti. No pressure, knowledgable, straight dealing, very nice guy. But do your research and get your numbers in order first! We set up the deal over email and he got me in and out of the dealership a very happy man in about 45 minutes!

Finally got my G37: by some3plus on Fri Aug 28 21:21:28 PDT 2009; Just took delivery of my Blue Slate with Graphite G37 Sedan in Austin, Tx. Sport, Prem and Nav packages. Price = Invoice+300-2500. Great handling and absolutely perfect color combination. Thanks to all of you guys-Sewellgsm, hebguy et al, even though it was VPP I got a lot of insight into the purchase process of the G37.

FYI there is orange message above every Post a Message box that reads: You may include the dealership name, city and state in your post.
