Buying a car from a Infiniti Car Dealer
Personally, I despise Herb Chambers and his group of thugs. Head down to Warwick, RI and hit Inskip instead. Their stock is fantastic and they'll have every color and interior to see in person.... and they treat you with respect, which I could never say of any Herb Chambers dealership I have ever visited. Hope your visit goes better. Good luck.
Invoice would be $35,745 (Including $715- Dest) That's $37,532.25 after Tax After Reg/Title fees, your very close to invoice. Not bad at all. I just paid $39,000 and change, but my 07x included the Tech. I'm also in MA, went through Warwick, RI Very similar deal. Good Luck!
I went through the 3M website and found 2 certified installers within acceptable driving distance. Both are less than $50 cheaper than the dealer. One installer said that Infiniti dealers claim to use 3M but actually use Avery Dennison products, which yellow over time. My dealer in Warwick, RI is a certified 3M installer, so I think I'll play it safe and just have it done there. It looks like the $695 kit just covers the fenders, mirrors and hood. The Bumper kit looks to be separate and almost just as expensive. I have an email in to my dealer to get pricing now. He said he would get me in touch with the shop next week, but other installers have appointments 3 weeks out so I need the info now. $320 installed is amazing. The kit alone is $299.95 3M certified installers get their kits through X-Pel
If you live close enough to Warwick, RI then go to Inskip Infiniti – ask for Robert. Great to deal with and they are willing to negotiate. In this area you should be able to get a discount from any dealer – if not walk away – go someplace else. But wherever you go - go prepared. Know what model & features you want and what the sticker, dealer invoice, and dealer cost are for THAT car. TELL them your willing to pay dealer invoice on a car they have on the lot or are willing to pay a little more if they have to order it. Be willing to put a deposit down ($1000 should do) if they meet your terms. I’m not advocating you do this with an attitude but with the confidence of someone with the knowledge of the product they are trying to buy. Bought mine at Inskip for $500 over dealer invoice – insisted they do a port swap – would not accept a car driven from another dealer. Car came in early and I’ve been happy ever since
