Just put a deposit on the following in the Philly area: 06 FX35 AWD Tech w/ XM Touring Handsfree Splashguards Cargo Protector Roof Crossbars (Beryllium / Brick-Black) $42,442 including destination. with the fee to transfer the tags and the "documentation fee" it comes to $42,570. West Chester Infiniti. Negotiated via email & phone in one afternoon with one of the internet sales guys. I haven't been to the dealer in 2 months (test drove the 06 when it first came out, haven't been back since) and the sales guy that had been helping me before is no longer there. Going in tomorrow just to pick up my credit card recipt from the deposit. Car should be in by 2nd week in April. If there are no surprises this was even easier than my last car purchase, and I thought that one had gone smoothly. I will keep everyone posted in case there are any surprises at the end.

Duane-Salerno in New Jersey was $1200 over, Infinity of West Chester in Souteastern PA was $1350 over, but would have done $1200 for a car on the lot.

ok The best place that wanted to deal was the dealer in allentown, pa.(bennett infiniti ?spelling) - called me 3x but I didnt pick up. I aint buying just yet infiniti of ardmore - looks like they are not that anxious to get any bids below invoice - nice people infiniti of west chester?? They may have sold to me for little below invoice but I didnt want to agree to anything at that time (g35x with pack c, splash guards, ?trunk mat) - nice people It looks like all dealers are denying the 2000 rebate I printed from Consumer reports. Edmunds does not show it, so either consumer reports is wrong and likely had that rebate for 2004 versions, or all dealers are getting extra 2000 grand from Nissan. (which i know they likely are anyway - no dealer pays invoice) I will wait again for the end of july for now.

That's a great price you got here. I tried to get an '05 coup and one dealer (West Chester, PA)wanted to sell at MSRP. After I mentioned about Invoice and stated that "we're about 3k diff." The manager said to me "Have a nice day". This dealer even wanted to sell an '04 for close to MSRP as well and never called me back. 2 other dealers want to get around 1200 to 2k over invoice for an '05 coup.

Rosenthal infiniti in Tyson's Corner, VA was very courteous and friendly. Only problem is their best offer was $500 under invoice- and that was after fairly persistant negotiation. They did tell me that you cannot use the $1500 with a lease, but I don't really believe that. Good luck with your search, this is a fantastic vehicle. Too bad the dealers are terrible, I wonder sometimes how they look themselves in the mirror every day.

Worked out a deal for 04'FX35 with the "Internet Mgr" with $1k adjustability for condition of my trade to be determined when I get there. Drive 4 hrs, I get some other salesperson but does have my paper work. He comes up with $7K MORE NEEDED! Brings in Sales mgr. he says OK $4K MORE! I have copies of emails and: HERE IS THE PRICE! Answer: "We don't know how he (the internet sales mgr.) got those no.s, want to buy an 05 for just a little bit more?". So much for "internet sales" that will only happen when we order direct from infinity web site and drive car off boat. So much for car salesmen; where do they get that bad reputation? So much for an agreement with a deposit made and reproducible nos on paper. Would like to complain to Infinity if I knew a good address. Also, need good dealer in PA, NJ, NY, VA area to start from scratch with. Ideas?
