Re: G35 for $1000 under invoice? [overratedny]

Anything is possible, but I wonder if someone in the NYC area could actually get out the door in that car for $1k under invoice? Did they leave out the destination charge? Doc or other fees? Some other catch like "oh, that one we advertised is already sold" ? Dennis

I wonder if the VPP price is the lowest tho. I asked this other dealer and he's willing to do $200 under invoice, problem is he was kinda annoying so I wonder if I should bother driving out there to deal with him (he's like 1hr away). Oh well, I really don't want to pay $400 over invoice since I might have a trade-in. I will probably have to work harder to save more cash.
Re: M35 Lease Offer - Good? [finadv]

It beats the heck out of a quote I received yesterday from my dealer ... from whom I have leased two Infiniti's in the past. Base M35 w/ Nav. MSRP ~ $47K. $2500 up front and $650/ month for 39 months! I'm at the tail end of my last lease on a 2006 M35 w/ Nav, Journey, Tech, and Aero ... MSRP $51K ... $2400 up front with the same monthly and that INCLUDES a $50/month "insurance policy" that covers a new set of tires at lease end, excess wear and tear and body dings, etc. On this thread I learned that my old lease wasn't such a bargain ... this new proposal is downright insulting. Oh, and it supposedly factors in a $2,000 Infiniti loyalty discount. Bart

wow, i can't get the dealer to work with me at all. they offered me the deal at whatever i had posted earlier, something around $36,600, and i countered with $33,000 thinking we'd eventually end up at $34,000. instead, they told me good luck and wished me well. oh well.......next dealer i guess? but this process is frustrating and i'm almost just as suited to keep the car i have.

Re: 2008 M35x deal: much better than 2006 [blov8r]

I'm in the same boat. My 2006 M35x only has 14000 miles on it! It's a 21 month lease that's up at the end of June, but the residual was so high at like 71% that I don't think it makes sense for me to buy it ... oh well. Good luck!
