Check with your local Police Department- they might have a program where they'll do it for free, or steer you to someplace that does it. PS:BS imho

According to ads in the NY daily News, Manhattan Infiniti is trying to establish itself in the area, so they may be willing to deal. Pepe in White Plains was not really willing to deal so much last December. People have also posted positively about the Ramsey, NJ and LI (Competition?) dealers. The full-size spare sits flat in the trunk; there are styrofaom pads that surround it to give the trunk a flat surface. The space saver does not have the pads, and the surface is not quite flat after all. IMO, you are not losing any usable space. I tried listening to "Beneath the Missouri Sky" (acoustic guitar and bass) cd while on the highway, and I could barely hear it because of road/tire noise. I love my car, so I just bring louder cds! It seems to me that Diamond Graphite is less common than Silver, but I've seen plenty around. I wanted Garnet Fire/Willow, and the dealer located one in Massapequa for me, and brought it to White Plains. The center stack can get scratched up by bags and things when getting in, so be careful if you like to keep your stuff up front. I can't personally justify paying for a Nav system. I have a road atlas and metro area map in the trunk, and Mapquest at home. Posters have mentioned that aftermarket Nav systems (suction cupped onto the inside of the windshield) go for about $600. Plus, without Nav, you gain two storage spaces. The space for the display is great for sunglass cases and cellphones. Can't help with the other stuff. Good luck!

Too true-I've yet to see a G35 without the full size spare, but I'm sure that they're out there. The difference in the trunks between full size and space saver is that since the full size is taller when laying on it's side, the rest of the trunk has two inch tall styrofoam pads covering the trunk floor in order to have a level surface. So it's not really usable space that's lost. In a pinch, you could remove the pads to regain the room.

I think it's because I'm going for 60-month term. AAA offered me 4.35 and US alliance offered 4.9. Infiniti originally offered 4.9, but in order to keep it in-house, business mgr. lowered to 4.1 when I mentioned AAA's rate. Saves me some over the years, anyway.
Yippee!

Just picked up our '04 G35X: Garnet Fire-beautiful in the sunlight,I can't wait to wax (Zymol) in the spring. Took them two weeks to find one! Willow-gonna be tough to keep clean, but looks great. Premium/full size spare wood trim(pull handles & shift knob) splash guards. $33,000.00 @4.19 APR. Pepe in White Plains NY. Probably could have done a little better elsewhere, but location of dealership is most convenient and salesman was a gentleman. I was also worried about sell 'em and forget about 'em dealerships far away from home.   Well, out for a ride we go!

I'm waiting for Pepe (WhPlNY) to find me an '04 G35X w/ Premium w/o full-size spare in Garnet Fire/Willow.   Pepe-$33,334   Same car:   Ramsey(NJ) $32,565 ( from the dealership over the net)   Competition (LINY) $31,500 over the phone, but the guy was a clown; I almost hung up on him.   I prefer to buy at Pepe; I'll present him with these quotes and see whether he can match. I might have to walk away.   For $2300, I'll drive to the Island and deal with it.   Any thoughts?
