G35xS prices paid in central/northern Jersey area?

Been following this car for years (coupe and sedan) and absolutely love it …..and now seriously need a new car - I have received some price quotes from local dealers in my area but these prices just don't seem to match well with the rest of the posts here/national average - perhaps because its NJ? 2008 G35x Premium+Sport Black/Black -Taking advantage of the 2.9% or 1.9% financing option... Quote from Ray Catena (Edison+Bridgewater): $36,300 (+$2541,+$244, $254, +tt) = $39444 - $1000 conquest = $38,444 … have the guy at $38,000 out the door. I talked to Ramsey and Lynne (both about 1.3hr away) and received a similar quote... This is about $650 above invoice and so I am trying to hold out: has anyone been able to get it lower in the Jersey area?? Am I asking for too much or something ridiculous? Any Jerseys folks here who have had a good buying experience at some of the major dealers here? and what prices did you pay? And where?

The dealership name is Ray Catena Infiniti in Edison, NJ. Please email me directly and I'd be happy to share the salesperson's name and any additional information you might be looking for. I went back and forth between this dealership and another via email and then eventually the phone. It probably took 3 calls to each in a 30 minute span to get the deal I finally received. The doc fee was $199 at the other dealership and $249 from Ray Catena, but Ray Catena was willing to "capitalize" the $249 doc fee so I didn't have to pay for it. The Sales Manager from the other dealership I was negotiating with said I had to go get the deal because there was no way he could match it.

Ray Catenia in Edison. So this is a good deal? I would love to get it down closer to 500 with no money out of pocket. Do you think that is possible?

Alright, finally I closed a deal in Edison,NJ for a fully loaded Bl on BL G35XS - sports, Nav, Prem, Splg, CarNet for $37150(before applying the $500 rebate). The MSRP on the baby was $40825, while the invoice was $37245(as per Edmunds). So apart from the usual taxes, I paid a doc fee of $249. So effectively a $150 above invoice( before rebate). I feel pretty good about the deal, what do you think? Also, almost all dealers that I dealt with were willing to trade around the invoice price(in NJ)... is this something that is common nowadays(with the recession and all)?

My situation is similar to the person above. I originally wanted a G37 but after looking at the G35 lease deals I think I'm better off going with a G35X. Not to mention that a sedan has a lower insurance premium and the awd will come in handy in the snow. Here's what I'm looking for. 2008 G35x *Sport package. The MSRP for the car is $36,165....invoice is $33,250 My FICO is score is around 790. I looking for both 24/36months lease for 12k a year. 3000k out of pocket. I'm looking for payment in the neighborhood of $350-$380 Do you guys think that this is possible? I'm dealing with Ray Catena Infiniti Edison. We haven't spoken numbers yet. But their other dealer in Bridgewater has a lease offer for a a G35x $349 a month for 24 months 12k miles a year. With $2699 due at signing. No security deposit. Closed end lease. The MSRP listed for the vehicle is $36,025. Thank you for your time and help.

Catena in Edison nj is offering me a m35 awd with msrp of $49,025 for $45,000 and i am considering a 24 month lease with 18000 mileds per year payment would be 799 per month. they also offered to sell a 2007 with msrp of 51725 for 44000 but i passsed on that offer. still wavering between gs350 and m35
